I was struck speechless! Kai was one of Jenny’s favorite members out of EXO, because of her I knew so much about him. I opened my mouth to say something….anything…but nothing came out. Kai looked at me and scoffed, “why can’t they just leave me alone” he mumbled under his breath. I felt so stupid! Now he was going to think that I was one of his fans. I cleared my throat and was about to explain why I was there and that I had no intention of bothering him when he suddenly looked up and smiled at me…..I could tell that it was a forced smile. “So I see that you’re a fan! “Would you like an autograph?” “Ummm no I’m not…” “Ahhh a selfie!” he exclaimed as he looked down and saw me clutching my phone. Without even waiting for me to give a response, Kai grabbed my phone out of my hands and snapped a picture of us before handing it back. “There you go! I’m not really sure how you got past security but only certain people are allowed entrance to this restaurant” he chuckled. I was amazed at his ability to act. While he maintained a friendly look on his face, I could detect the anger he felt in his voice. “I am working…” “Oh you’re a waitress here!....let me show you the way back to the party, I’m sure that there are people looking for you!” Kai started pushing me back towards the wall that I had come from. I was beginning to feel angry, he didn’t even let me say anything and just assumed whatever he wanted to! I had decided to give him a piece of my mind when suddenly voices could be heard coming from the other side of the wall. Kai stopped walking and stared at the wall; he looked almost scared, but I wasn’t sure who or what exactly he was scared of. The voices came closer and I could tell it was a pretty big group heading this way. “Stay here and don’t move” Kai whispered in my ear. He slowly inched towards the wall to see who was coming. Then I understood, this was his special place that nobody else knew of…he probably wanted to keep this place a secret. I tiptoed quietly behind him, maybe Jenny was with that group then I could just grab her and sneak out of here already. I truly regretted listening to her and letting her come here. Before I could peak over Kai’s shoulder to see who was coming, he whipped around and grabbed my arm trying to pull me away from the wall. I yanked my arm out of his grip. “What’s your problem?!?” I shouted at him. He quickly placed his hand over my mouth and glared, “keep it down!” He hissed angrily. “The paparazzi is on the other side of that wall. How do you think they’re going to react when they find me in a secluded part of the garden at night with a girl? Trust me it won’t be good for either one of us” I sighed and nodded, signaling that I agreed to keep it down. “We have to hide just in case they find the door in the wall, if they see that nobody is here then they’ll most likely leave and go look somewhere else.” I looked around puzzled, there really wasn’t anywhere we could hide; aside from the well, the garden was pretty much empty. “Come here!” he whispered as he grabbed my arm, pulling me towards the well….this time he was a lot gentler. Kai crouched behind the well and pulled me behind him. The voices came closer and closer until they were right outside the garden, the paparazzi was right next to the secret door. The only thing keeping it hidden from them was the darkness, if it had been daytime they undoubtedly would have seen it. My heart was thumping violently in my chest, kai and I were so close to each other that I was sure he could feel it. If it were anyone else they would have been excited that they were so close to Kai, but the only emotion I was feeling was worry….I wanted to be discovered by the paparazzi as little as he did. My trip to Korea would be over soon and I planned on spending the rest of it in a relaxing atmosphere. I never liked drama and had no intention of being on the news…..who knew what crazy fans I would have to deal with if I was caught together with Kai. As Kai and I lay crouching in the shadows of the well, I heard a small cracking sound. At first I paid no attention to it, but then I heard it again and this time it was louder. “Stop moving back there” Kai murmured without even turning around. “It’s not me though….” I whispered back. I doubt that he even heard me though since he was fully absorbed in listening to what was happening on the other side of the wall. I leaned back to look at the well and stared in horror when I realized what the sound was. Kai was leaning heavily against the well, and since it was so old it was falling apart! The wall of the well was slowly crumbling against Kai’s weight and he didn’t even realize it! “Kai! We need to find a different spot to hide” Kai turned his head and looked me square in the face “Are you blind?...or maybe you’re just stupid….can you not see that there is nowhere else to hide?!?” I huffed back angrily, what a jerk he was! I no longer cared what happened to him, whether he got caught by the paparazzi or fell in the well was no longer my concern. “I’m not staying here any longer!” I snapped back as I shot up. I was just about to take a step back from the well when Kai stood up and clasped his hand over my mouth, pinning me to edge of the well. I tried to squirm out of his grip but he was just too strong “stop it they’ll hear you!” he frantically whispered in my ear. Kai’s full body weight was on me, I could feel shivers going up my spine and I knew that something bad was about to happen. I only had this sickening feeling one other time in my life…..the night that my parents had passed away. Without warning, the wall of the well gave way and I screamed as I felt my body falling backwards into emptiness. I shut my eyes closed as my body hit the water at the bottom of the well. Immediately after I hit water my body was under the surface, it was as if I was in a whirlpool. I could feel myself spinning as the water whirled around me. It was getting faster and faster, the force was pulling me down deeper and deeper into nothingness. My eyes were shut, and I couldn’t breathe. Suddenly everything stopped! I was surrounded by complete and utter darkness. I tried to move but quickly realized that I was unable to. I started to panic as different possibilities ran through my head….maybe I was paralyzed…..maybe I was dead….”just stay calm” I told myself. After I took some deep breaths I could feel that something heavy was on top of me, pinning me down. I slowly opened my eyes fearing what I would see. My eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness and I could see that there was a body on top of me. A wave of relief washed over me, I hadn’t realized that Kai had fallen in the well with me. I wasn’t too happy that I was stuck with him but I was happy that I wasn’t alone as well. Just then Kai’s eyes shot open. He stared confused into my eyes. I could barely breath because of his intense gaze, he really did have a handsome face. I was the first to look away, I could feel my face heating up….good thing it was dark and he wouldn’t be able to see it. “Can you get off me, I can’t breathe!” I grumbled as I pushed him off. Kai quickly got up and frantically looked around him “Where the heck are we?!?” I shrugged in response “maybe a different part of the garden?”…I offered  “How is that possible though???” Kai looked back at me puzzled. Suddenly we heard voices coming in our direction……..”the paparazzi” Kai grumbled under his breath. “Don’t say anything to anyone, I’ll handle this” he remarked as the group of people got closer. I frowned in response, something was off I could feel the panic beginning to rise in my voice…..”is the paparazzi usually dressed that way?.....and why are they carrying torches….” My voice trailed off as the group of people ran up to kai “Crown Prince are you alright?!?” one of the men asked. Kai stammered “Crown Prince?!?” “Yes your highness we’ve been looking for you for hours, you’re not injured are you?” I could see horror wash over Kai’s face as the realization of what happened hit both of us at the same time…..we had traveled back in time…….
