When I first met Chansung, I never thought he would turn my world upside down. He was not one of those cool guys out there. He wasn’t even rich. However, I liked him, a lot.

Seven months ago, we used to date and study together. But when my mom found out Chansung’s family background, she disagreed with our relationship. She tried everything she could just so I would break up with him.

We secretly dated. We stayed strong for months not until my mom broke the worst news ever. I am getting married. I am getting married to a man whom I don’t even know, to a man whom I never met. Poor Chansung, he couldn’t even do something about it.  So the next day, I tried to comfort him and tell him that everything’s going to be fine.

/at the school/

“Jagiya~ I miss you.” I said excitingly. I leaped just to hug him.

“It’s not right, Seo. We can’t do anything about your marriage.” he sulked.

“Chansung-ah! Everything’s going to be fine, I promise.” I pouted.

“Seo, we are not for each other. Stay away from me already.” Chansung turned around, his back facing me. I backed hug him, crying. I still can’t accept the fact that my mom disapproved our relationship and signed that stupid arranged marriage. “My Chanana is so warm today. I miss hugging you. Stop being so cold, Chansung.” I couldn’t stop my tears from falling.

He broke the hug and faced me. “Do you know why the moon and the sun we’re never seen together?” he asked. “Ani.” I anwered. He looked at the sky and said, “It’s because they were never really meant for each other. They have two different worlds. One is for day, the other one is for night. Seo, there are a lot of stars out there, why not move on?” he cried.

“Jagiya~ But I only want that Sun. I will never give up on you.” I howled.

“Seohyun, please don’t make this hard for me. Stop crying now, your pretty eyes are now gone.” he said, wiping the tears on my face. He held my hands and kissed it. “He’ll make you happy. Get over me.” he walked away.

I chased after him. “Chansung-ah! How could you say that? It’s breaking my heart. I love you, you and only you. I will give up everything just to be with you. I will run away from my family just to be with you.” I hugged him again, hoping he’d consider what I said.

“I don’t love you anymore, and I can’t.” Chansung coldly said. He left me there speechless. My heart was broken, for the very first time. There is nothing worse than what he just said.

And so, from that day, I started moving on. My friends would accompany me wherever I want to go. They would give me small presents each day just so I would stop crying over him. I read two books a day just so I wouldn’t even think of him. But whenever I’m at school, I would always look for him. I never even found him. I guess he moved out from this place. Although I don’t have the right, it still hurts. --
