Months passed since the day Jimin had accumulated the fragments of Yoongi’s broken heart on his bedroom floor, unceremoniously scattered across the room and near his feet and put them back to rebuild them into something functioning and coherent.

 
Jimin showed Yoongi that it was not necessary to hold close someone to convey that they care. It is not essential to whisper " I love you" it in ears every day. He didn’t have to kiss Yoongi under the stars or beneath the mistletoe. Jimin’s love was kind and pure, Yoongi felt it linger on the myriad of wounds and scabby scars, tainting his heart and fixing the broken hair-line cracks of his heart with lame jokes and subtle innuendoes. Yoongi realized how much he had endured having finally begun healing by someone like Jimin.

 

Jimin had taught him the grace in letting go.

 

One Saturday, when they were at the beach when Yoongi thought, at the moment when the crashing waves fall asleep, peaceful, lost to the serenity of salty dreams in between the maddening silence that love doesn’t come to you in crashing waves or thunderbolts. It appeared to him, again like the warm winter sunrise- where the promise of the summer shines out from within. He looked into Jimin’s eyes and he felt complete after a long time, he felt time
