Description

Yong Dayeon was EXO’s number one fan.

She went to all their concerts and fan meets. She bought thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise. She even waited outside the SM Entertainment building at unworldly times to try to catch a glimpse of EXO members.

She was a fan since day one.

Don’t be mistaken. By no means was Dayeon a saesang fan.

Sure, she would sometimes get a little violent trying to capture the attention of the members. Sure, she would often try to follow them to their dorm. Sure, she had managed to find Chanyeol’s number and repeatedly called him until he had changed his number.

But she was not a saesang fan.

Dayeon was just their number one fan.

Foreword

“Should you really be doing this right now?” Jin asked in her usual monotonous voice. It was not quite husky, and not quite silvery. A voice that seemed to forever stay the same unexpressive, pitch.

“Of course,” I hissed. “Why would you even ask such a question.”

“Maybe because this is probably illegal?”

I rolled my eyes. “Just shut up.”

Jin was silent. I looked at my watch and frowned. It was almost 2 AM.

I perked up as I heard the lock on the door turn.

“Kyungsoo, can you make me some food?” I heard a deep voice ask. It was muffled, probably from a mask, but I could easily distinguish who it belonged to: Park Chanyeol. A tall figure was entering through the front door, lazily kicking off his shoes by the mat.

This was my que.

“Oppa! Chanyeol Oppa!” I rose from my spot on the sofa. He whipped his head around in alarm, but it was already too late.

A large smile gracing my lips, I made my way towards him.

Chanyeol’s eyes widened in recognition.

“H-How did you get in here?” He gulped.

“That’s not important right now,” I casually dismissed. “Are you hungry? Do you want me to cook for you?”

“No! I-I mean, I’m not hungry anymore,” he took a few steps back, only causing me to take some forward. He backed up against the wall and frantically looked around. “Uhh, where’s D.O.?”

“Oppa is sleeping in his room. Probably exhausted from all the practicing you guys have been doing, not to mention the long hours he’s put into filming for his drama. Poor soul,” I pouted. “You guys are working so hard that I worry. Please take care of yourselves and stay healthy!”

“W-We will,” Chanyeol took a glance past me, towards the hallway that connected the bedrooms. “Was he awake when you, uh, came?”

I pursed my lips. “Yes, but I don’t think he saw me.”

“I-I see… Well, I need to talk with him so if you’ll just lea–“

“No.”

Chanyeol looked taken aback. “E-Excuse me?” Beads of sweat began to form at his hairline.

“No, I won’t let you wake Oppa up. He needs his rest,” I insisted with a firm tone.

Chanyeol gave a few nervous chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. He slowly inched towards the hallway.

“It’s okay, really– Kyungsoo–He gets plenty of rest, too much actually–Kyungsoo!–It’s really not healthy for him–KYUNGSOO!”
