Below The Stars

Description

Jiwoo Song is a very chill, and zen-like artist who spends most of her time devoted into her artwork. She tries to avoid contact with the outside world, but is never ignored, due to her beuaty and loving aura. She has a deeper understanding of life and tries to be kind to eveyrone that she meets. Despite this, Jiwoo has a scary past, and tries her best to express it through art. She meets Mark Choi, who's life is a never ending journey. He is being chased by the governement and has traveled from country ot country. He's seen all of life's worst situations to offer, and has been shot before, as well. He finds himself intertwined with Jiwoo's life and sees nothing much of it at first. But after a while, Jiwoo starts to attract Mark and he sees her as not only an ally, but a woman. All of this boils down into the government trying to find these two, and the relationships that build through it. Jiwoo's first love, Jisung is a member of the NIS and his sole purpose in life is to find Mark to kill him. Mark's family is also working with the government to try and get him to turn in, but he does not. Mark is alone in the world and has nobody to talk to comfortably. He often neglects comfort and tries to keep moving forward. Mark's life only gets worse when his only friend, Junghoon is killed by the government and used as bait. So how does Jiwoo fit itno this? Jiwoo gets dragged into his life through destiny, and does not live life the same, after meeting him. They begin a love relationship, which then becomes the beggest setback of their lives.

Foreword

"What exactly do you feel when you are with Mr. Choi? Any fear?" he asked me.

"Fear?" I chuckled, "My only fear in this world are mice. People like Mark dont make me flinch a bit." I smield to myself.

"But it's funny you say that. He's not who you think he is. Mark is running becuase he has nowhere to go. Your first course of action, like you said, is to create peace and negotiate with him. To protect him and provide to him, as long as he is turned in as a criminal. But how do you tell that to him? How do you tell him that without scaring him?" I added.

"S-Scare him?!" the general asked. "Mr. Choi cannot be scared. He is running from his problems, but hte fact of the matter is, is that he creates problems as he runs. So if the solution is to kill him, then we must kill him. He has no emotions, anyways."

"The devil had a heart. Hitler had fears. If we continue to consider murder, what will happen to these people that were neglected-"

"Miss Song, you have not answered my question. How do you feel when you are with him?" he demanded.

I smiled.

"I feel like i am living in my own art. The things I create are brought to life when I'm around Mark. Fire is no longer a simple title, but it's...just..."

I placed my hand over the spot of my chest that was thumping.

"Talking about him even excites me. It's like he was made for me. Like I was made for him. It's as if we were nev-"

"Thank you, that will be it for today." General Kim closed up and left the room, leaving me empty.
