Short prologue

Mrs. Lee is a widow. Mr. Kim is a widower. After finally meeting the one, they married. And that leaves L. Joe to ‘endure’ a life as a stepbrother of L, a year older than him and not to mention a nerd.  He hated them and everything. Since his mom had dated several men even before Mr. Kim, they only fawned over her and treated him contrary.

Since he is the badass kingka in Seoul, along with his other friends, who call themselves as Teentop, ditch school and do almost everything a rebel could ever do. Though these kids have their issues, apparently L has none. He accepted the fact that he’s going to have a stepmother and a trouble making brother.

You on the other hand have a story too, you have moved to many places, every year you change schools and address because of your parents, though they wouldn’t tell you the real reason, you just assumed it was because of work. A month before you were born, your parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oh was in the streets, their parents kicked them out after finding out they’ve eloped and didn’t know where to get money. Luckily, a man, a loan shark, lent them and they promised to pay him back. After the day you were born, your father’s job as an amateur chef wasn’t enough to pay the hospital bills and had to resort to the loan shark, Park Gyeonbu.

This led to numerous attempts of barging in to your house, when you’re not around, because your mother had always made a way for you to go out with her to buy or eat something, and asking for the payment with the interest. As time drew closer, the debt grew and grew and your family was scared as hell so they moved every year, hiding their identities, you would stay with your name because the loan shark didn’t know you existed, Mr. Oh told him you died at birth so you wouldn’t have any problem.

Characters:

You(Oh Hyunji). Curious. Has aegyo, though innocently use it. Innocent, to add. Pretty. No friends because no one would talk to you, they thought you were weird for always keeping quiet and talking to the animals and plants, since then you don’t talk to anyone besides your parents. Easily convinced. Protected by your parents. Caring. Respectful but knows when to step in. Shy

L. Nerd. Quiet. Observant. Quick thinker. Serious. 'Loner'. Likes to read books. He didn't talk to anyone since you came

L. Joe Childish. Immature. Kingka. Hates L, his mom and L's dad. He never calls L hyung even thought he's older than him. prankster
