Hyungwon is packing his bag in his room, when his mom walks up behind him with a knife, ready to bring it down on his back.

He spins around and takes the knife from her hand and then throws it. While it makes its mark in the center of the practice target, he smirks at his mom.

"Nice try."

She quietly laughs and places a hand on Hyungwons shoulder. Her eyes suddenly start to tear up at the realization that her son is leaving for four years to study at her old school.

"I just wanted to make sure that my son would be safe without me." She says while wiping her eyes of excess moisture.

"You know that I can protect myself, I mean, I've had the best teacher in the world training me for my whole life. The one and only, Chae Gayoon." she starts to laugh at him.

"Honey, that was ages ago, I retired as soon as I knew I was pregnant with you. I just want you to know that it's okay for you to not become a spy. I will love you no matter what." She says with tender care in her voice. Years in the academy has never trained her for this.

Hyung won grabs his mother and wraps his long, gangly, arms around her tiny frame.

" This has been my dream. I am doing this to be able to protect you in the furture. I promise to come back and make you proud of the man I will become."

With that a car horn honks outside the small apartment. Hyungwon takes his bag and his favorite cap, giving his mom one last hug, he turns and heads for the door. Once Hyungwon has entered the cab, Gayoon stands at the doorframe, staring at the vehicle driving down the road. She stared until she couldn't see the car anymore. She turned around and shut the door behind her.
