"I wonder how Hyerin-noona is," he heard Sanghyuk ask in passing as they were getting their makeup done for yet another magazine photoshoot.

The saying goes that you never know the value of what you have until you lose it all. Those words never rang truer for Jung Taekwoon, guilt and longing clouded his mind and soul at even the slightest mention of her name. Never had he hated his passive personality more than he had as of recent.

He had gotten so used to her presence that he never knew what it would feel like without her there right by his side. He should have told her how special she was to him. He should have told her that he felt the same way. He should have held her tighter when he had the chance. He had screwed up. Bad. And now she's not here. Not by his side.

"Probably better than she ever would have been if she was still here," Jaehwan scoffed, tone laced with bitterness. He heard Hakyeon shush the younger team member. If this was any other situation, Taekwoon would have scolded Jaehwan for not thinking before he spoke, but he knew that everything Jaehwan said was true.

He clenched his eyes closed letting the words sink in, trying to remember how he let it all go so wrong.
