I waved goodbye at the limousine as it beeped but as soon as it started to leave my wave ended up with just my middle finger aimed toward it.

 

“I hate my life” i mumbled as i turned toward the door of my parents home 

 

*Knock knock knock*

 

The door opened slowly and my dad stood in the doorway wide eyed in shock 

 

A few seconds pass while we just stood awkwardly staring at each other

 

He blinked a couple of times, i was about to say I'm home but he ended up shutting the door

 

My jaw slowly dropped

 

Did that just happen?

 

No hello, no hug, no nothing

 

I wanted to cry a little

 

I raised my hand again and banged on the door 

 

“YAH!!” i shouted

 

I've had just about enough of this stupid place, i can't believe i left my cosy apartment with my fluffy fat cat and my awesome baby lambo back in america for this.

 

The door opened again and this time it was my mother

 

The same exact thing happened with my dad but just as she was about to close the door i quickly put my foot in first 

 

“Why do you guys keep shutting the door on me? And why the hell is no one greeting me? Where's my hugs and kisses?” I whined 

 

My dad had joined my mother and were now whispering to each other

 

I could only hear some words but when i heard my dad whisper “do you know her?” to my mom i snapped

 

“IT'S ME!” i shouted as my eyes slowly started to tear up, it takes a lot for me to cry but when my own parents didn't know who i was i just couldn't take it

 

“It's ______” my voice cracked and i fell to the floor crying. I'm still a baby when I'm around my parents

 

My mom was shocked at first but then her eyes started to get watery too

 

“_______ ah” she said before kneeling to the ground, she cupped my face, kissed my cheeks and then hugged me “my baby's home” she added before she too broke down crying

 

My dad just stood there with a happy smile on his face.

 

After our little reunion we ended up in the lounge room with me pacing back and forth in front of my parents who are now seated looking at me.

 

I stopped pacing around and stood right in front of them with my hands on my hips 

 

“How could you not remember my flight? How could you not remember who i am? How could you treat me so coldly huh?” i questioned 

 

My parents just laughed and talked to each other 

 

“She's so cute when she's like this hehe reminds me of you honey~” my dad teased to my mom who giggled and slapped him on the arm softly

 

“I know right! Look at her serious face~ so handsome! it reminds me of you hon~” my mom teased back which earned her a smile and peck on the cheek from my dad.

 

“Why ain't you listening to me~” i whined stomping my feet

 

“Omo there's our baby!” my mom exclaimed before standing up and hugging me.

 

My dad stood up after and came to hug me too

 

“We're sorry we forgot your flight ______ ah, we thought you were flying in next week, we're also sorry for treating you coldly and we didn't forget you! You just looked too beautiful that we didn't recognize you~ i mean look” my dad said and took out his wallet, he pulled out a picture 

 

It was a picture of me four years ago before i left. 

 

Yeah i can see why they didn't recognize me, i mean i looked like a totally different person. The short hair which i grew out and the glasses which i switched out for contacts and also the bracers which i finally got rid of last year.

 

I shivered remembering the hard times i had because of my appearance 

 

But still they're my parents. Don't they have like a special radar for detecting their own children, speaking of children where is my lil baby

 

“mom! where's lucy?” i asked

 

“Lucy? Hmm she's out with her friends i think?” 

 

Lucy is my younger sister we were inseparable, she clung to my arm crying her eyes out at the airport before i left to America four years ago which broke my heart. I honestly cried my eyes out too, that's just how much we love each other.

 

“Anyway forget about lucy for now, how was your flight baby?” mom asked while we sat down on the couch

 

“My flight was quiet and comfortable” i answered flatly 

 

I flew first class so i wouldn't be bothered while i slept

 

“Did anything bad happen?”

 

As soon as i heard bad, a face popped in my head

 

How the hell did i forget

 

“YES! Something bad happened to me!! something horrible!! something even nightmares can't compare to!!” i moved closer to mom and hugged her while crying 

 

My mom rolled her eye's she knew i always over exaggerated things

 

“What happened baby?” mom questioned when i calmed down

 

“I met a she-devil” i whispered and glanced around cautiously just in case said person would appear 

 

My mom just pat my head like a puppy

 

“Does this she-devil have a name”

 

“Yes she does” i answered eerily 

 

mom raised an eyebrow

 

“What is it?”

 

“Lucif-”

 

*Smack*

 

mom smacked me on the head causing me to pout

 

“Her real name?” she said sternly not liking how i was lying

 

I rubbed my head before speaking eerily again 

 

“Jess-”

 

*Smack*

 

“Speak normally”

 

I rubbed my head and backed away before answering 

 

“Its jessica jung” 

 

*Smack*

 

“Ahhh wae~” i whined

 

“Stop lying baby”

 

“But it really is”

 

“Oh so you're saying an idol is your devil”

 

Idol? Well that would explain the bodyguards

 

“HOLY CRAP SHE'S AN IDOL!!!” i accidentally shout

 

My mom raised her hand ready to smack me again 

 

“Of course she's an idol what other jung jessica's do you know?” mom said sarcastically “now tell me the truth young lady”

 

 

 

“It is the truth mom i can prove it” i pulled out my phone and showed her my home screen picture which had me pouting and my so called “devil” smiling evilly.

 

“See!” i exclaimed 

 

“that's the devil right there” i point at her face 

 

My mom looked stunned, she grabbed my phone and eyed it intently “she's just as beautiful as she looks on tv” 

 

“Seriously mom!”

 

“What? I'm just saying~” mom said with stars in her eye's “ anyway what's so bad about her? she's an idol?”

 

“Everything! She's a first grade bully! She's mean! She's deceiving and she made me her girlfriend!” i exclaimed 

 

“You have a girlfriend and it's jessica jung!?!” dad said in a low voice

 

I forgot dad was here...I'm in trouble!

 

“Yes but it's not that i want one i mean she asked me and i initially shook my head indicating a no but she ended up being like all up in my grill like staring right in my eyes and stuff i had no choice, well i did have a choice but she was really intimidating and her bodyguards added to my-

 

I stopped rambling all the excuses i could think of when my dad and mum stood up.

 

His face was red and it looked like he was gonna blow.

 

Her face was blank which scared me more than dads face 

 

I already had tears in my eye's but what they said next is something i never expected

“WOOP!! I HAVE AN IDOL AS A DAUGHTER IN-LAW!?!” dad shouted spinning my mother around in his arms

 

“THAT'S MY BABY!!!” mom shouted happily 

 

My mind was blown

 

 

A while later... like 20 minutes later they finally calmed down.

 

Who the hell takes 20 minutes to calm down

 

I had a feeling mom was a fan.. but dad? I did not see that one coming!

 

A little later my parents started asking me questions

 

“Is she gonna visit?” I shook my head 

 

Hopefully not

 

“Is she really as cold as she looks?”

 

I nodded vigorously like a kid

 

She's really cold

 

“Is she taller than you?”

 

That one kinda pissed me off…. cause she was.

 

just a Centimeter taller though

 

I shook my head cause i was embarrassed a little

 

my pocket sized body

 

“Is she really your girlfriend?”

 

I nodded hesitantly

 

It was not a mutual decision, but i do keep my word. 

 

after a few more questions mom left and came back with a bottle of wine and three glasses before passing them to my dad

 

“LET'S CELEBRATE!?! YOUR NEWLY FORMED RELATIONSHIP” dad cheered and started pouring the wine before handing us a glass

 

I sighed

 

I can't believe i expected them to care when they're hardcore fans of that she-devil

 

I should have never come back
