The green-tailed merman happily swam through the sea corals, singing beautifully as the fishes went to play with him.

"...Out of the sea, wish I could be part of that world."

Suddenly, the green-tailed merman prince felt very sad.
The little merman didn't know why he was feeling that way. His family is royal and he is very rich but something below the sea just makes him sad.

Junmyeon just sat there in one corner, feeling tears started to form in his eyes and so one droplet of colorful bead comes out and then another and another ...

He was crying ...

He wouldn't let his father and brothers know that he had been going through something.

"Junmyeon------" 

Minseok called out. The crowned merman prince was in panic searching for his younger brother and all of them were searching for three hours now until the maknae merman prince heard a faint whimper coming from behind a rock.

"Erm, hyungies, did you hear that? I think someone is crying."

Luhan immediately listened to it very well and gasped when he heard a small sniffle.

"Guys." He called out and all the mermen including the other merprinces turned to his direction,

"What is it, your majesty?" Minho asked,

"I think I heard him."

"R-Really?!" The excited blue tailed merman prince named Chanyeol asked,
"If so, we should go in and see if it is my little brother!" Minseok and Luhan nodded at each other. They slowly peeked behind the rock and their hearts broke at the sight. The young, beautiful pale-skinned prince, sitting in one corner with his green tail folded to his chest while shaking,

"J-JUNMYEONI!" Minseok and Luhan hurried to the green-tailed prince. Said prince lifted up his head and he looked really pathetic with more tears now dropping from his eyes uncontrollably. Luhan felt a sharp pang of hurt in his heart and the yellow-tailed merman prince couldn't help but cry at the sight of his poor younger brother. Minseok rushed to hug the skinny boy's crying figure,

"J-Junmyeoni!!!!! Why are you crying?"
The green-tailed prince just shook his head and whimpers now became louder,
"Is it those half-sharks?" 

Junmyeon shook his head once again,
"I-I'm f-fine, M-Minseok-hyung, L-Luhan-hyung. I-I j-just hate my b-body so much!" The merprince growled and more tears formed in his eyes once again,

Minseok and Luhan looked at each other,
"Why do you hate your body? Look at you, you're so beautiful! You're the most beautiful merman we have ever seen! You are even more beautiful than most mermaid here. Don't be sad, dongsaengie!"
Luhan approached his younger brother and he gently lifted up his chin, catched all the beads formed out of Junmyeon's tears while looking at it in awe,

"Come, let's get you home. Father is searching for you. He is so worried about you."
Minseok extended an arm for Junmyeon who took it without hesitation.
All the other merfolks and merprinces were all shocked at the sight of Junmyeon,
"J-Junmyeoni-hyung, Are you okay?" Prince Chanyeol, Prince Kyungsoo and Prince Tao asked worriedly.

Junmyeon just smiled weakly at his younger brothers and to all the merman guards.
"Are you sure you're ok, your majesty?" Minho asked and put an arm around the most endearing prince, who just smiled at the most trusted merman in their palace,
"Yes, Minho-ah. Thank you for being there for us..."
"You're welcome, your majesty! I'm just doing my job."

Then they all swam their way to the palace, thanking everyone for their cooperation. Siwon was sitting on his throne. When he saw all the merprinces and the mermen arrived, he stood up from his throne and swam towards his son and hugged his green-tailed son tightly. He grew concern when he felt his son sobbing softly on his shoulder,
"J-Junmyeoni, son, are you crying sweetie?"

The merboy prince just looked up at his father,

"I-I'm alright, father, I-I just..."

He was ignored by Siwon as the merman king hissed an order to all the merman guards,

"I order you to guard this kingdom. Arrest everyone who tries to scare my son!" 

Then his attention went back to his crying prince,
"Hey sonnie please stop crying..." He softly the prince's red hair,
"... I'll make sure no one will ever come near you again, okay?"
He didn't get an answer as the cute green tailed prince came snoring on his father's shoulder.
