Getting up from bed I looked at the time. 8 AM. My shift starts at 10 so I have time to myself. I went to the bathroom and took a long hot shower. “Ah- this feels good” I said to myself while washing my hair. After the shower I dried my hair then wore some ripped jeans, a tanktop, and a jacket. I entered the kitchen to get me something to eat. Opening the fridge, I rummaged through it and saw that there was nothing edible. Note to self: go grocery shopping. Luckily there were some cookies in a jar that I leave on the kitchen counter. I was feeling thirsty so I looked for a cup to pour me water in, but noticed all my dirty cups and plates that I haven’t washed in the sink. “Ugh” I groaned rubbing my temple. Another note to self: wash the freaking dishes! Ever since I started living alone I just didn’t have time to go grocery shopping and wash the dishes. “Congratulations on winning the competition,” he smiled, “I heard your brothers talking about it yesterday when they were here.”
“Thank you!” I beamed.
“Anyways let’s go back to work before we get scolded.” he chuckled patting me on the shoulder. I lowered my head smiling to myself as I went back to work. After a while the customers left so I decided to start cleaning the tables and to mop the floor. While I was cleaning the tables, my phone buzzed in my pocket. Getting it out I saw that it was a text from Yukwon.
Yukwon: I’m waiting in my car outside. Come out.
Huh? I better go see what he wants. Shoving my phone back in my pocket I walked out the door to his car, which was the only car parked outside. As I approached his car he rolled down his window to talk to me.
“When does your shift end?” he asked taking off his glasses.
“Well hello to you too” I rolled my eyes.
“I don’t have time for hellos just tell me when you get off work because you have practice” he questioned impatiently.
“It’s about 2:55 PM now and I finish at 3, so i
