Since this story's titel is "war diaries" (plural) you will find more than just Jinki's entries. I will use different fonts/sizes or otherwise make it obvious when I change the writer. I hope this won't get too confusing. I just don't want to write "Onew's diary" "Jonghyun's diary" etc. in the titles. I'm pretty sure all of you can figure it out anyway :)

It’s hot like in summer.

Since the rocket-attack last week there haven’t been any further incidents. Some of us already wonder if it was just an accident.

We have located the launcher and headquarters are probably discussing whether or not we should retaliate and at least destroy the device.

I’d be fine with just attacking structures. But it’s very likely that there will be people affected also. I’m glad I won’t be the one to fire, if it comes to this and I think about Jonghyun who might not be as lucky.

I’ve heard there was an attack near Cheorwon. That’s where Jinki Hyung is stationed. I can’t get hold of him and they’re not telling us anything about casualties.

He’s lucky, I’m sure. He always is.

I was angry at first but now I’m just worried. I worry all the time.

My mom doesn’t want to leave Seoul although Seodam keeps urging her. They should both head to Japan with Roo. We could afford to rent an appartment in Yokohama or even Narita. I really want them in a safe place. I can hardly sleep at night.

Seodam got through to me the other day and told me about Taemin. I can’t believe they drafted him. I mean, yes he is old enough, but he still is a kid. It feels like they dragged a child into war.  Will they actually ...

I wish we had had the opportunity to say goodbye to each other, all of us. What if we never get the chance to talk again?
