So today's topic is on Fanservice.

To clarify, fanservice is the aim to make fans go 'doki doki <3'. It can be from one person alone or a whole group of people. For our case, we are specifically talking about 'Couple fanservice'. Sometimes it is initiated by both people but it can also be started by one. It could be simple things such as making hearts towards the crowd together:

Then, there is the EXTREME Fanservice:

bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh SHINee, BigBang and Super Junior have abosolutely no chill xD

and this ain't even half of it lmao

Some couples are comfortable enough with each other that they can display extreme cases of Fanservice, but Chanbaek is not one of those couples. In fact, they almost NEVER do Fanservice. Which was my stuggle finding memorable moments OTL

But whenever they do, they don't fail to make fangirls go crazy.

Let's start off with the 'NOT-SURE-IF-THIS-IS-FANSERVICE-OR-NOT':

• That time Chanyeol slung his arm around Baekhyun during 'Run':

because they very rarely do this on stage

• All those times they became MCs together

why did they allow this  

Below is the '50/50 FANSERVICE' (With reasons)

• Chan bringing Baek closer:

wHY IS CHAN SO FREAKING TOUCHY (Baek's face is my life asdfghjkl)

Reason it is Fanservice: They are surrounded by an arena full of fans (They should know that they are being watched)

Reason it is not: They are only interacting amongst each other (And they are honestly more intimate when they are by themselves)

• The time they Baekhyun actually said 'i love you' and other various stuff:

Reason it is Fanservice: They are speaking through microphones (with a crowd to hear them)

Reason it is not: They baekhyun ahem are teasing the other with their own intent

• THEIR FIRST FREAKING HUG OH MY GOD:

Reason it is Fanservice: On a stage during their Exo'luXion concert (And they didn't have to actually hug)

Reason it is not: Sehun sets them up himself (And they didn't have to actually hug)

I repeated the last part for both because they honestly could've thought of it either way.

From this point is 'OKAY-THIS-IS-DEFINITELY-FANSERVICE':

It's funny cause' when Baek rejected him, he slipped on the stage straight after Nice try Chan

That moment is their most extreme fanservice. Chanbaek shippers will never forget ahaha

Other than these, their interactions are very slight and genuine. Which is a bit surprising because you have two loud beagles (in which they interect with people a lot) and they're supposed to be best friends (which their level of comfort with each other is supposed to exceed...). x'D

To sum it all up, I think Baekhyun shows his affection through words while Chanyeol shows his through actions.

And that sums up their most memorable fanservice moments! :D

Note:

I actually had a bit of a hard time finding fanservice moments. I spent too much time thinking of interactions that seem implied in some ways while also thinking of its importance to their shippers it is. I had more moments but I kept them in hiding so that they could be revealed later. I hope you don't mind. ^^;

I will probably update this chapter if I want to add more moments. It still feels kind of empty in some sections. xD

Since next week is March Break, I'll have time to work on my rants. I'll probably have homework and family-related stuff to do as well, but free time is free time. :D
