The rain was soaking through my shirt, it was starting to stick to my skin, but I couldn't bring myself to register anything at this moment. What had I done? Where am I? Where was I going? It all seemed to escape me as I tried to grasp a strand of my existence. Nothing came to mind, so I just kept walking, I'll get somewhere eventually right? I don't even know how long I've been walking for. It wasn't until I accidentally bumped into someone and the faraway knowledge that I should apologize came to mind, but it was like my mouth was glued shut. I couldn't even lift my eyes until the stranger covered me with their umbrella and asked me suddenly startling me so much I looked up to find that they had the deepest brown eyes I had ever seen if I had seen any before.
