Final

Diamond
Myungsoo stretched his arms out, cracking his neck. He was so tired. His boss, some big shot photographer, was making a small time photographer like him buy coffee for him. Myungsoo knew that the other was his superior, but there had to be a limit to how much one could do. Checking his emails, contacting models, meeting with the management; how was Myungsoo supposed to be awake for his own photo shoots?! Myungsoo sighed as he looked at the coffee in his hand. He even had to use his own money to buy it, I mean how much of a jerk-
Myungsoo's thoughts came to a stop when he bumped into somebody, sending him onto the floor, coffee spelling all over his shirt. Cursing, Myungsoo sat up and was about to demand the other to pay him back for his laundry when he saw him. Splayed on the floor while struggling to get up, was the most beautiful man Myungsoo had ever seen. Big eyes, beautiful lips and a sharp jawline, like a diamond somebody had spent years shaping to perfection. Myungsoo swallowed as the other stood up, staring at him wide eyed.
"Are you okay?" The guy asked, taking in his stained shirt with a horrified look. Snapping out of it, Myungsoo smirks and nodded, getting up.
"I'm fine," he strained out when the other guy used a piece of tissue to wipe his shirt. Myungsoo couldn't help but stare at his fingers. They were so long, so beautiful. Like a girl's.
"I'm really so sorry about this. Is there any way I can repay you?" The guy asked. Myungsoo blinked and smiled.
"A date." He said. Looking up, the other guy's eyes widened.
  "What?" He asked.
"A date. Well, it doesn't have to be a date. Just lunch or something," Myungsoo said. The guy eyed Myungsoo suspiciously, before extending his hand. Myungsoo placed his phone in his hand and watched as the other guy typed a number in his phone.
"Here's my number. Uh-um call me, if you still want that date," the guy said, blushing. He bowed to Myungsoo and ran away. Dazedly, Myungsoo looked at the newly added contact in his phone.
  "Sungjong."

Before the actual date, they texted each other a lot, and Myungsoo just couldn't seem to dislike Sungjong. Sungjong was happy, kind, and sweet; everything one could ask of a partner. He was now nervously waiting outside a café for Sungjong, puffing his cheeks to calm himself down.
Though, it didn't really seem to work when Myungsoo jumped after feeling a tap to his shoulder. He whirled around and sighed in relief as he saw a wide eyed Sungjong with his hand raised.
"Ahah, did I scare you?" Sungjong asked, smiling cheekily. Myungsoo had to resist himself from pinching those cheeks as he gathered his composure and firmly shook his head.
While they ate, they couldn't help but be drawn to each other. They were two perfect guys, who texted regularly and who both basically had a crush on each other. So of course, after a few more weeks and three to four meet ups later, they started to date.

Though there were happy times filled with laughter and smiling as their phones, both could feel the strain in their relationship. They were both working adults. Sungjong worked in one of the top editorial companies and Myungsoo was slowly climbing up the ladder of the top photographers of Korea. They were both busy, and could message each other, much less meet up.
Myungsoo was paranoid. Because the distance between them could mean that there would be space in Sungjong's heart for another man. Myungsoo knew he should trust Sungjong, but he just couldn't.
So it shouldn't really be a surprise that when he saw Sungjong and another man together, he had snapped. He had ran towards them, pulling both into an abandoned alleyway and pushing the guy away despite Sungjong's shouts for him to stop. He punched the guy, punching him until he was left bleeding from multiple cuts, until Sungjong had managed to snap him out of it.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Sungjong had screamed as he ran towards the other guy, apologising profusely. Myungsoo stared in anger, because how dare Sungjong care about another man infront of him? Sungjong sent the man away apologetically, before turning to Myungsoo.
"What the hell was that for?!" He asked, glaring at Myungsoo. Myungsoo scoffed, stuffing his hands in his pocket.
"Don't get so defensive. I saw both of you together. Is the reason you don't answer my calls because you found someone else?" Myungsoo asked coldly. Sungjong stared in shock, before his eyes changed, and he stared lifeless lay at Myungsoo.
"He's my cousin. I brought him out to help me choose a present for you because he has the same taste as you." Sungjong said, reaching into his pocket and taking out a box, tossing it to Myungsoo. Myungsoo caught it and opened it, looking up at Sungjong in shock. There were two rings with small diamonds surrounding it. Sungjong smirked sadly.
"Promise rings. I found the long distance hard so I wanted some reassurance that we will be together forever. I bought diamond ones because I had hoped that our relationship would be like diamonds, forever shining, forever beautiful. I thought our relationship would be Infinite." Sungjong said, and Myungsoo's breath hitched. What did Sungjong mean by 'thought'? At Myungsoo's silence, Sungjong breathed deeply.
"If you won't even trust me anymore, how far more can we advance as a couple?" He whispered. Myungsoo's eyes widened, and he shook his head.
  "Sungjong... What are you-"
"Let's break up," Sungjong cut him off. Eyes widening even more as tears pricked them, Myungsoo shook his head, reaching his hand out for Sungjong.
"I-I'm sorry. P-please don't do this," he pleaded, lacing his fingers with Sungjong's. Sungjong clenched his eyes tightly and pursed his lips as a tear rolled down his face.
"I really love you Myungsoo. But I can't... I can't be with someone who doesn't trust me. I can't be with someone when I can't see them everyday. Kiss them everyday. I can't be with someone I can't be with in public without the media taking pictures. Please Myungsoo, let me go," Sungjong said, voice cracking as more tears streamed down his face. Myungsoo's heart broke as he slowly released Sungjong's hand. Sungjong smiled a heartbreaking smile, tiptoeing a little to kiss Myungsoo.
Myungsoo's hand moved to Sungjong waist, pulling him closer. They kissed desperately, Sungjong's tears mixing. They didn't want to separate, but had to for air. Myungsoo brought his hand up to cup Sungjong's face, studying it one more time. Even with the tears and snot on his face, he still looked breathtaking. Exhaling shakily, Myungsoo let go.
Myungsoo let his tears fall as Sungjong ran away, with a hand covering his mouth as he did so. Myungsoo brought his hand to the top of his head, wondering: What the hell did I just do?
With each step Sungjong took away from him, he took Myungsoo's heart with him as well, leaving Myungsoo feeling cold and empty in the middle of an empty alleyway.
