My eyes were staring at the Christmas tree in front of me. Staring at the beautiful decorated tree brought back memories, and I let those memories wash over me. I did not even try to stop them from coming into my consciousness. Instead, I actually wanted them to play in my mind. Every piece of memory I had where he was in, I wanted to replay them over and over again. It was the only way, for me to stop feeling this incomplete feeling inside of me. It was the only way… To temporally smile sincere again.

“______-ah…”

I turned around to face the handsome boy in front of me. A light chuckle left my mouth as I saw him nervously standing in front of me. Really, he said he wanted me to accompany him while the girl he wanted to confess to was not here yet, but this nervous side of him was quite new to me.

“It is going to be alright, Jinyoung-ah. I doubt any girl would be able to resist your charms.”

I said while patting his shoulder lightly, trying to reassure him that he was going to do just fine. We had been friends for years already, and the Jinyoung I knew was not someone to get embarrassed so quickly. This girl must have had quite an impact on him, for him to be in such a state.

“______-ah…”

He said again, earning a weird look from me. What was wrong with him today? As if it was his first time confessing to a girl, really, and we both know it was not.

“Jinyoung-ah, what is wrong with you today-”

“______-ah, I like you.”

Being confessed to by your good friend, your best friend, it was something overwhelming. He would be a great boyfriend, I knew he would, but I never thought he would become my boyfriend. I did not even know how to answer him at the moment, but when he suddenly kissed me, it was all too overwhelming. It was at that blissful moment, that I accepted his confession.

“Maybe… Maybe we should-”

“Break up?”

I suddenly interrupted, leaving him dumbfounded. He knew we were both thinking the same thing, and it hurts so much to realize we both did not want to go on anymore. What probably hurts the most was that we could never be the same anymore. We could not possibly be best friends anymore.

“______, I-”

“Jinyoung,” Tears were forming as I tried to speak out those words, “let’s break up.”

Slowly tears were forming again, and I did not try to hold them in. There was no reason to hold them in. Let these tears wash away the pain inside of me, at least a little. My vision was blurred by the tears, but I could still see the Christmas tree. The same Christmas tree were he confessed to me, the same Christmas tree were we broke up, but also the same Christmas tree were I last saw him.

Hello there! This is my Christmas gift for all my dear readers and friends! :)
Not a friends only story anymore! :) Let those 10 days begin! :D

Why is it a 'friends only' fanfiction? 
This is a fanfic for all my readers and friends, so yeah.. That's why :p I am thinking about removing the friends only once I start posting this fanfic, but I want my readers and friends to be the first to be able to know this :) Yeah, I want to make you all special :D

Ah, that is because it is a friends only fanfic XD I could not make it a subscribers only fanfic, so... Let's have a nice time on AFF! :)
When will you start posting chapters?
Well, you see, the reason why I wanted you all to know in advance, is because this fanfic will start ten days before Christmas (yes, the title, even though I did not thought of it when I wrote the title lol) and I will post one chapter a day :) That will make a total of ten chapters + 2 chapters (25 & 26 december, that is, if I am able to do so XD). If I told you the day I began posting, you may not be able to read from the first day because you did not know at first. This is going to be a challenge for me, because posting everyday is hard ghehe, luckily I have vacation then (I hope). XD
Why is it a 'you' story?
Because this is a story for you :D! I do hope I am able to tell this to everyone before I begin posting it, since I will have to spam everyone ghehe XD Also, even though it is a you fanfic, I write in I-perspective (I hope this is a word..). I fail otherwise XD
So when will this story start?
If I counted it correctly, it will start on 15 december. *counts with her fingers* Yes, 15 december! So, until then, I will update my other stories, do not worry!
Why did you come up with this?
Thanks to the fact that I am sick at the moment, so I cannot do anything 'productive' ghehe, so I came up with this :)
Why Jinyoung?  
I was originally gonna use Sungyeol (again), since I was inspired by their White Confession trailer/preview, but since everyone writes about them because of that, and I got influenced by a certain Jinyoung obsessed (yes, you! ghehe), I chose for a Jinyoung story :)

Eh? I like the darkness though... But it is quite dull I think.. But look at the bright side, it has Jinyoung on it! *gets angry glares*

I hope you will all like it! Since this will be a short story, I will try to hold in all the drama I love to write ghehe. And yes, it will be a happy ending, so please be reassured :) I will not make you all sad on Christmas :O
