It was Christmas and it was time for presents. Like every year tao was eager to know what his present was but this year it was different. because this year he finally was married to wu yifan who he loved. This would be the first Christmas present he would receive from his husband.

“what is it, what is it?”

Tao was jumping up and down while yifan was laughing trying to calm his wife down.

“here, now don-“

Tao started shaking the box and yifan’s hand fell down.

“-’t shake it”

Tao put the box down gently and opened it while taking guesses. He finally opened the box and it was none of them.

“y-yifan, this is-“

“a border collie.”

He smiled while tao looked at him and then at the puppy who started his face.

“I want to name him baekhyun.”

“That’s a sweet name for a lady.”

 

 

At night though, finally when it was time for sleeping ,yifan had the little puppy in his arms while tao made a tiny bed for baekhyun and nagging at him for not letting baekhyun to sleep with them.

“but tao if he starts sleeping with us, then he’ll do it forever. We have to show him we are the masters here.”

Tao whined but yifan is 8 years older than him so that makes him wiser. He nodded and they left the excited puppy alone.

But when they reached the stairs to go to their room they heard barks and yifan turned to see baekhyun out of the room wagging his tail excitedly.

“aww look at him.”

Yifan picked the puppy up and put him in the room again but this time he put a chair behind the door.

It took a while before they heard baekhyun wailing and whining.

Stomping his feet yifan tried to silence the puppy and It worked.

It was 3 am when baekhyun started pushing the door. although the door was blocked by the chair but still only a little wide and baekhyun could go out.

Baekhyun looked up at the stairs. It was frightening at first but slowly he took steps and climbed up.

he reached a door that he had heard snoring of his human from. he hesitated after he pushed the door. he then jumped inside the room and started howling in front of yifan’s bed.

“yifan…”

“hm??”

“just this night let him sleep with us.”

“fine. just for this night.”

Yifan groaned and patted the bed for baekhyun to jump up. Baekhyun put his head on his paws and closed his eyes.

 

 

 

Just this night turned in to always. Baekhyun was three months now and still sleeping on the bed under yifan’s side.

By the sound of birds chippering baekhyun opened his eyes and started barking. Yifan groaned and pulled the covers on his head while tao was peacefully sleeping.

“we should really teach him about Sundays.”

Tao didn’t budge and turned to sleep again while yifan was trying to pull baekhyun off of him who was pulling on his pajamas to wake him up.

But finally giving up baekhyun got out of the bed and ran downstairs. he got out of the house and barked at the pigeons and ran around again.

She ran around but his nose picked up the smell of a bone so she followed the scent and saw a bone. She picked it up with and buried it.

She heard yifan leaving for work and she ran inside because tao had called her. She wagged her tail while barking excitedly because she knew what was waiting for her.

She looked at tao who opened a pink box and took out a license. Baekhyun’s eyes sparkled as tao took the license and put it around her neck. He ruffled her hair and put a mirror in front of her.

Baekhyun looked pretty, that’s what she thought about herself and she could wait to show it to her oppas.

She ran out of the house and walked to back yard which had a way to the house next door.

 

 

“suho ssi~”

A jack rossel along with a corgi came out from the bushes to greet her.

“well hello, how are you baek- oh is that a license??”

Baekhyun walked proudly because she had finally gained trust from her humans to have a license. Suho and the other, lay had already had their license because they were far  more older than her.

 

 

 

But unlike baekhyun who lived in grace there was chanyeol who was a tramp. He lived anywhere he wanted. He wouldn’t depend himself on humans because in his opinion they were all cruel and heartless.

A husky which he was woke up stretching back and then forward. He went under a shore of water which he didn’t even know where it was coming from.

“now time for breakfast.”

He walked to the city. He was a thief? No, he went anywhere with a puppy face and who could resist that?? Even with a huskey.

He looked around. He wasn’t in the mood for sausages, cake but he was in the mood for pasta, his favorite place.

The kim’s, was a restaurant run by a couple, kim kibum and kim jonghyun.

He went from the back door and started barking while wagging his tail. Jonghyun always came by the door quickly but this time it took a while.

Chanyeol went inside by pushing the door open. He knew he was safe here and he knew he was allowed to go inside.

He frowned and looked around for jonghyun, he didn’t find him but he found someone else and his eyes sparkled.

He his lips by the sight of a beautiful white and black border collie who had her eyes closed with her head on her paw. She had license and a man who he guessed was her owner was sitting holding a book and drinking coffee. He looked closer and kibum was  pouring some coffee for him.

Chanyeol wanted to howl in happiness but just then someone patted his head.

“chanyeol? you came back. Come back there and I’ll give you your food.”

Chanyeol leaned in to the touch but as soon as it was gone he looked front to see the beauty looking at him. he wagged his tail trying to gain her attention but the other puffed and turned her head away. he couldn’t help but feel disappointed.

Chanyeol took the bone jonghyun gave him and walked in to the ally. He was finished with it when he heard car’s horn and he curiously looked around.

Looking at the sign it read, dog catching, and he knew exactly why. It was 19^th century and dogs without licenses were getting more and more and chanyeol was one of them but he was the most popular and the brightest so he never got caught.

He went closer and looked inside the truck. There were three of the dogs who were also like him as a tramp and they were caught.

“hey guys I’m gonna get you out of here.”

Fifi turned and gave him a wink.

“thanks chanyeol, handsome as always. Huh?”

But chanyeol didn’t pay attention and opened the door using his snout and told them to hurry and get away. just then a catcher came but before he could run after them chanyeol bit his feet.

 

 

Suho and lay came in to the wu’s garden to search for baekhyun. baekhyun was in the backyard with a very sad expression.

“baekhyun ssi is everything ok??”

Baekhyun frowned making a whine noise.

“I don’t know. Maybe I did something that made tao and yifan mad? I just wanted to run after the pigeons like always but tao didn’t let me and when I pulled on the leash he hit me lightly with his hand. It didn’t hurt though. Or the other day yifan called me that dog while talking to tao.”

Suho and lay looked at each other with a smirk.

“well you see they’re expecting someone?”

“a guest?”

“yes someone who will always stay.”

Baekhyun cocked his head to the side.

“maybe around two weeks ago didn’t you hear some strange noises?”

Baekhyun thought about and in fact she did. she heard tao screaming but when she reached to the door it was locked.

She nodded and suho howled excitedly.

“well they are having a baby.”

“what’s a baby?”

“pure unhappiness.”

Baekhyun along with suho and lay looked at the door of the yard while a big huskey walked inside with an amusing smirk on his face.

He came closer while looking at baekhyun and then pushed suho away and sat in front of baekhyun instead of him.

“I can tell you how to make one.”

Chanyeol winked but baekhyun was still in daze of what was going on.

“yahhh get away from her.”

Suho growled and chanyeol growled back which scared him off. Chanyeol huffed and went back staring at baekhyun.

“they are great but in human’s heart there only place for a dog or a baby not both.”

“bu-“

“remember those greasy pieces of chicken?”

Baekhyun could already imagine eating them-

“forget it you’re going to eat baby’s food left over.”

Baekhyun was shocked which made chanyeol feeling even more excited.

“or the warm cozy place for sleeping beside the fire.”

Baekhyun nodded eyes sparkling and already lying down.

“forget it you’ll sleep in a leaky house in the yard.”

“no human’s that cruel.”

Chanyeol looked at suho and suho growled again.

“just get out of here.”

Chanyeol sighed and got up.

“fine. take care baekhyun.”

He winked and walked out of sight.

 

 

 

Three months later, a late night baekhyun got up when yifan tried to stand and leave the bed. she yawned and looked as yifan got his coat.

“is that everything hon?”

“mm yeah, don’t forget watermelon.”

“w-watermelon?”

Tao nodded while caressing baekhyun’s head on the bed and yifan gulped and left to buy the cravings in the middle of the snow.

 

 

Finally after six other moths tao gave birth to a boy. Yifan was on the phone talking to someone while baekhyun was listening.

“yeah…it’s a boy…eyes?? I didn’t see his eyes.”

Yifan excitedly ran upstairs while the telephone was hanging in the air and someone was calling his name.

Baekhyun was in daze and she was looking around at the mess happening.

 

 

It wasn’t completely an ignorance but losing attention to something named baby made baekhyun curious about what it was. Both yifan and tao were upstairs and so baekhyun carefully walked upstairs and pushed the door open.

Tao was singing quietly swaying a puffy blanket in the air. When he put it in the crib baekhyun walked closer and stood on her feet but still she could not see a thing before yifan put her paws on the edge of the crib.

There was nothing really just a new smell and some blankets before tao took the blanket away and baekhyun could see a beautiful little human. She started wagging her tail and yifan ruffled her hair.

 

 

Baekhyun got so used to the little baby luhan. she loved him dearly and tao and yifan were now sure she could do no harm to their baby lu.

Baekhyun got up and stretched. She first bit yifan’s feet lightly and ran outside. She made sure luhan was soundly sleep before she ran outside.

After peeing she took notice the sight of a rat. She hated rats specially when she knew the rat was looking directly at luhan’s window.

She started growling and showing teeth while the rat ran around yard and finally ran outside the yard with fence open.

Mindlessly baekhyun followed the rat outside and only looked around when she heard the sound of horn of a taxi and horses feet in the air.

She panicked and with her tail between her feet she ran to inside aan ally which she shouldn’t have.

 

Chanyeol was lying on the ground still thinking about the beauty he had seen that day in the kim’s. it would be a lie if he said he hadn’t felt like love at first sight. He was completely aroused by those eyes even baekhyun huffed at him or wasn’t kind to him the other day. Well of course she was out of his league but trying or dreaming was never a crime.

He was out of his thoughts when he heard four big dogs chasing a little white and black dog which seemed familiar and he immediately recognized that shining license on the border collie’s neck.

he smirked knowing exactly what he had to do.

 

baekhyun was hopeless. When he reached the end of an ally and turned to see the four stray dogs growling and coming closer step by step she had no choice but to surrender herself. but suddenly a bog dog quite larger than the stray ones appeared in front of her growling at the four.

She went to hide behind a box when the huskey attacked. She watched as he bit them and one by one they ran off while whimpering.

Chanyeol huffed when the last one was out of the sight and turned to baekhyun.

“hey baekkie. What are you doing dow- what happened to your ear?”

Baekhyun wanted to look at her bloody ear but no matter how much she tried she couldn’t. chanyeol chuckled the lady was cute and he couldn’t help but to have the eagerness to keep her forever.

He mindlessly started the one’s ear only to be growled at.

“okay okay I’m sorry. Let’s find water, huh?”

Baekhyun huffed and with her tail up in the air started walking like a lady. Chanyeol his lips and followed. It was going to be fun.

 

“you don’t talk much, do you?”

“I have to go home, my humans are waiting.”

Chanyeol gritted his teeth because he didn’t want her gone but he nodded.

The got to a pond and chanyeol stopped.

“here you could wash it here.”

Baekhyun looked at the water. It was brown, ugly, dirty and she was disgusted.

“no way. This water’s dirty.”

“then let me it.”

“no.”

Chanyeol sighed and looked around. He saw sign of zoo. He had a plan.

“come with me.”

Chanyeol and baekhyun walked closer. Baekhyun looked at the sign and it read ‘no dogs allowed inside the zoo’.

“we shouldn’t go in there, the sign says.”

“forget it. just watch.”

Chanyeol got out of the bushes and followed a man who was going to go inside the zoo. The guard saw and stopped the man, acting as if he was his owner chanyeol stopped as well.

“sir no dogs allowed.”

“I do not have a dog.”

“then what is that?”

“this is not mine.”

Chanyeol used the situation to bit the guard’s back and the two men started fighting. He motioned for baekhyun to follow him and they went inside.

He looked around. Alligators, great he thought and they moved closer.

“hey can we use some of the water here?”

“sure.”

Baekhyun bent to reach the water but chanyeol pulled her back immediately when he saw the alligator opening his mouth to grab her.

He growled and they continued. Finally they reached a river which was floating for the seadogs. Baekhyun finally washed her ear in the water and drank some water.

“I’m hungry. How do you live without humans??”

“simple.”

Chanyeol got up and baekhyun followed him. he stopped in front of the houses and started  sniffing.

“like this. wow looks like that house have turkey tonight.”

Baekhyun didn’t look so pleased. Chanyeol sighed and motioned for her to follow.

“this were I usually come.”

 

 

They went to the kim’s, baekhyun hid behind a pile of boxes while chanyeol started barking for the kims to come out. Kibum came outside greeting chanyeol who was wagging his tail and immediately he went to where baekhyun.

“what is it chanyeol- oh look at here. You’ve brought a friend.”

Slowly and cautiously baekhyun came out. Kibum cooed and chanyeol looked proudly as if he was showing off his wife to some friends.

“JONGHYUN WE HAVE GUESTS.”

Jonghyun came out immediately. He put a short table with a nice clothe covering it. he went inside the kitchen and like always brought a plate of bones.

“YAHHHH NOT BONES BRING SOME PASTA.”

Jonghyun ran inside scared when his wife gets angry and also baekhyun hid under the space between chanyeol’s hands when he was sitting.

“it’s fine. they’re actually really nice.”

A plate of pasta with meatballs was placed in front of them. Chanyeol started eating and nudged baekhyun. shy baekhyun started also eating and trying to copy chanyeol she tried to roll a pasta up but it splashed and made her face dirty. Chanyeol chuckled and her face.

Baekhyun blushed and continued eating. Unnoticed both were eating the same pasta and finally both reached each other. Their lips were locked in an innocent kiss and kibum couldn’t help but coo.

Baekhyun shied away while chanyeol pushed a meatball to her. And they started eating under the dim light of the moon.

 

 

They walked by the park totally in love. having their tails locked together as they walked through the park. Chanyeol finally had the chance to show his love by baekhyun’s neck and ear which still hurt.

They sat on top of a heel and watched the city while baekhyun had her head placed on chanyeol’s shoulder.

 

 

The next morning chanyeol woke up while his snout was placed on another’s which was the love of his life. He smiled and leaned closer. Baekhyun stirred and opened her eyes slowly.

“good morning baekkie~”

“good morning chanyeol.”

They both got up and stretched. Baekhyun looked around a little and just found out he had to be home like right now.

“I have to go.”

“oh come on. Humans are bad.”

“but tao and kris are always nice to me.”

“look baekhyun you are caged in there they keep you away from the outside world.”

Baekhyun lowered his head.

“I still have to go.”

“fine. I’ll take you home.”

 Chanyeol started walking but for baekhyun’s tiny legs it was too fast. Chanyeol was sulking and mindlessly was walking faster and faster for baekhyun to reach.

“chanyeol walk slower.”

Chanyeol ignored her and kept his space.

Baekhyun was tired she huffed and stopped a minute but she yelped when something grabbed her from back.

“chanyeol, chanyeol.”

But chanyeol didn’t hear and walked. It was a while later when he turned and didn’t see baekhyun behind him.

“baekhyun? BAEKHYUN?”

He ran around but didn’t find her.

 

 

Baekhyun was shaking when she was place in a cage. There were a lot of dogs around.

“hey there beautiful. What’s a lady like you doing here With that nice expensive license?”

Baekhyun looked up at a bulldog and went backward but reached another cage and a chi Wawa sniffed her. She backed away again.

“not from around here huh?”

“don’t scare her, you guys.”

A mixed small female dog came in sight.

“what’s wrong with my license?”

“nothing darling they are just jealous.”

“well I thought this time it would be the chanyeol to join us finally, huh fifi?”

“yeah chanyeol saved us but didn’t get caught. y as always.”

“chanyeol?”

“yes he’s the most popular tramp in the town, he as never been caught and let’s not forget he’s popular between girls.”

“g-girls?”

Baekhyun felt like her world crashed. She was just another one?

“me, linda, tiffany-“

“my sister.”

“yeah he’s handsome.”

The door was opened and a guard walked in. he opened the cage baekhyun was in and picked her up.

Outside tao and kris were waiting worriedly and hugged her as soon as she was given to him.

“I was so worried baekhyunie~”

Baekhyun leaned in as of crying because her heart was broken as well.

 

 

 

Chanyeol slowly and with caution walked in to the yard with a bone in his mouth. he saw baekhyun laying the ground with her eyes closed and her head on her paws.

Chanyeol put the bone down in front of her and she opened her eyes.

“hey baek-“

Baekhyun glared at chanyeol and put held her head high and walked away.

“come on baekkie~ I’m sorry.”

Chanyeol rolled on the ground with his ears pressed on his head looking up at baekhyun.

“you ignored me they took me away.”

“I’m sorry you had to go to the shelter-“

“oh don’t even say the shelter that horrible place.”

Baekhyun was whining but suddenly she remembered something.

“and that reminds me.”

She looked dangerously at chanyeol and growled.

“who’s fifi, linda, tiffany and some other ugly female dog HUH???”

Chanyeol’s eyes widened and he sweated nervously. He never thought baekhyun would find out. He never mated but he could say he did date or had the intention to mate someone before he met lovely baekhyun.

“t-they-“

“I was just another one huh?”

“let me explain, I just dated them nothing spe-“

Baekhyun started barking feeling annoyed.

“GET OUT AND TAKE THIS WITH YOU.”

She kicked the bone and went inside the house. Chanyeol looked at baekhyun once more before leaving with his tail between his feet.

 

 

Baekhyun was wailing because she was sad. she wanted to forgive chanyeol but she couldn’t do it so easily.

She went outside as tao did too and laid on the grass. She was watching when two dogs crossed.

“did you hear they finally got chanyeol, they will kill him for sure he made a lot of trouble.”

Baekhyun’s eyes widened. She shot up and suddenly the catcher’s carriage passed and she went eye to eye with chanyeol.

She started barking and following the car. it was night and it just had started raining but she didn’t care.

“BAEKHYUN.”

Just in time yifan reached the house with a cab and tao got in and told him to follow the carriage.

 

Baekhyun was barking trying to reach the carriage. Chanyeol was telling her to stop but she wasn’t listening.

Finally she came in front and the catcher saw her but he didn’t stop and tried to shoo her away. when he saw the dog moved in front of the wheel he stopped the horses but it was too late.

Tao came out of the cab right behind were the carriage had stopped. Chanyeol was clawing on the cage to get out. Finally breaking it he came out running to were baekhyun’s lifeless body was lying.

He nudged the body but it wasn’t moving. He started whining and howling. Tao came hugged baekhyun caressing her head.

 

Chanyeol was waiting at home excitedly because finally baekhyun was going to be released from the hospital.

Fortunately only her hand was broken and it was nothing major.

“now come down chanyeol. she’s here but she’s still fragile.”

Chanyeol barked when the door opened. Baekhyun walked in with one hand up limping.

She was showered by chanyeol her all over the face and neck.

“I missed you baekhyun.”

“missed you too chanyeolie~”

 

 

Three days had passed. baekhyun smelled different to chanyeol and along with that baekhyun felt hot and the temptation to glue to chanyeol.

It was a matter of time before chanyeol too lost control. Baekhyun was in heat and there was her mate right in front of her.

 

It was oddly quiet at home and it made tao curious to find chanyeol the troublemaker of the house. Walking around he didn’t see baekhyun either.

She opened baekhyun’s room, the room they first out her in and was met with sight that had him blushing. He closed the door and called for yifan.

 

 

It was pure pleasure when chanyeol moved on top of her and of course careful not to pressure on her injured hand. They both groaned when chanyeol entered her.

He hadn’t moved yet when tao opened the door. with half leaded eyes baekhyun looked up at tao’s shocked and blushed face before he closed the door.

“YIFAN THEY- THEY’RE MATING.”

“so let them-“

“it’s baekhyun’s first heat. She can’t bare pups the first year she’s living.”

“calm down. they love each other and our house is big enough.”

Baekhyun didn’t listen longer when chanyeol moved inside her. She whined as the pleasure spread through her.

They knotted three times that night after each lovemaking session. Chanyeol hoped they would have their own pups now.

 

It wasn’t long after they mated when baekhyun was pregnant. it was adorable because baekhyun was always sleep and she would sometimes get up walking like penguins and drink water or pee.

Chanyeol was always there, to her, bring her food, spoil himself,…

When finally it was the time yifan and chanyeol waited outside pacing around while tao was in the room helping baekhyun.

He came out of the room hugging yifan while chanyeol went inside.

Chanyeol walked in to see baekhyun wrapped in a blanket with 5 little pups, 4 were like him and one was like their mom.

“thank you they are beautiful.”

“I love you chanyeollie~”

“love you too lady~”

 

 

 

It was Christmas. Luhan was sitting on the ground next to chanyeol and baekhyun. four little huskeys were sitting calmly while one, the youngest was running around.

“jongin sit still and let yifan take a picture.”

Jongin didn’t listen and still ran around before chanyeol put his paw on his tail and yifan took a shot.

The room was filled with smoke and yifan had to open the window.

“hey look we have guests.”

Lay and suho came in the house. Jongin didn’t give time before he bit suho lightly and ran around.

“they sure look like their mama in some way.”

“but still this one’s pretty much like his dad.”

Chanyeol chuckled while baekhyun took jongin by the neck and put him in the box but still he got out.

“happy Christmas baekhyun, my love.”

“happy Christmas channie~”

They both watched as the five pups played around. Chanyeol had a family finally.
