in the upper east side of new york city, there is a small restaurant that may just become (not really) the most famed eatery in the metropolitan - the small blackbird bistro, le petit merle bistro.
established in 2015 by chefs seokjin kim and wendy son, star graduates of le corden bleu paris, le petit merle is on the road to creating a notable history and landmark in new york dining under the hands of their strong partnership.
despite its quaint size and simple interior design, the vintage parisian atmosphere, breathtaking delicacies, and especially exciting customer events it has to offer is the reason for its potential(not to mention its exceptionally gorgeous members). the simple elegance of the bistro, which can only be described as truly parisian, satisfies the dainty epicure. its hard working staff members strive to serve the best and only the best - and they do not disappoint.
but little do people know how much of a real-life dramatic comedy it is to be a part of le petit merle...

seokjin doodles mindlessly on a spare sheet of paper as kris rambles on, filling it with little squiggles and random sketches that consist of whatever dish he can think of - escargots, crème brûlée, coq au vin and so on. the paper is soon crumpled in his hands, and he casually tosses it in the wastebin successfully. score.
"seokjin, are you even listening to me."
"what were you talking about?"
