it's common knowledge that BOUQUET : THE LAST CHANCE was a survival show unlike any other - most people in the entertainment industry wouldn't even think to give the trainees cut for behavior issues, disobedience, and worse the chance to appear on television, much less debut. sometimes, people say that the misdeeds of the contestants is why the show ended up shrouded in misfortune. if i'm being completely honest, i can see their point. but it was advertised as a chance at redemption for the seven trainees who would debut - selling the contestants as just the kind of delinquent with a soft heart that made straightlaced high school kids go weak at the knees - just the kind of boy a younger, more naive me wanted to 'save'. i mean, hell, the name came from the fact that they were describing the contestants as roses with all their thorns intact.
so there, i admit it, i was a huge fan of the show.
but after the incheon crash, something about them - the finalists - was different. these weren't the same seven idols that had got onto that bus, waving at my camera in the heart of seoul. it was fishy, quite frankly. i knew something had to have happened. so i found out, and i figured the story would be worth telling.
