PROLOGUE

'Babe, get real. Do you really think only by, what- dancing, singing, practicing all day will get you anywhere? Look at Vernon. He's been a musician all his life but what does he earn really? A few hundreds a month? It's ridiculous. I think you-' He sighed, racked his already messed up hair,  and looked at me seriously.

'I should stop, should I? I should listen to you and.. Leave Jimin, Namjoon, Taehyung, Yoongi and the rest of my boys who were dreaming of becoming singers their whole lives and- I just walk in to my dad's comapny, easily, get promoted and all that ? Babe. You know what, I'm just sick of everything right now. You're just like everyone. Everyone's the same.' He folded his arms, waited for an answer. I sighed and walked to him,

'Babe, I-'

'I thought you would at least appreciate what I had passion for. I thought you would- Nevermind. We're good. I'm done.' 

He scanned and searched my eyes for the very last time and sighed as he took his bags and left. I was dumbfounded. I never meant any- But it's not the right time to think about any of this right now. I was just trying to care for his future. Guess I was wrong. Or maybe he is. He's probably going to come back to our apartment and make up to it anyway.

Three days later

It's been three days but he never contacted me. Because of my stupid pride, I didn't bother contacting him too and anyways, I've got to go to work. Oh, right, I forgot to introduce myself; Kim Minhae, twenty. I'm currently a resident doctor at Park Hospital in the Neurodepartment. I have a fiancè named Jeon Jungkook, also twenty. We fought three days ago. Basically that's it. I don't want to admit that I'm a science freak and I got lucky the jock from my high school is now my fiancè, the rest- all history.

I dragged myself out of our apartnment and grabbed my keys from my purse and got into my car.

Park Hospital is only a fifteen minutes drive, it's actually quite convenient to get here by bus (but I prefer pampering my car once in awhile). I swiftly parked my car and got into the 17th floor to the Neurodepartment.

Doctor Park greets, he's the heir of this hospital, and my bestfriend. 'I'm terribly sorry Doctor Kim, I got a call to go to Bangkok for about 4 months, and there's no one is this department I trust with all my patients except you. So!' Doctor Park gave me and pout (which looks like a cute little kitten that was drenched in the rain). I ruffled his hair, 'Psh, Haebin, you know you don't have to worry, I got it all covered. Besides, you're the prodigy of this hospital. So run along, child.' Haebin gave me flying kisses and rushed off to where the bodyguards of Park Hospital take him to his Bangkok trip. I shooked my head and chuckled as I waved to that little kid.

I tapped my card to go into the staff room and put on my doctor's coat. I checked my hair once again before starting on my daily job. 'Doctor Kim! You're taking over Doctor Park's patients right? Patient 2 Ward 3 needs to get in the surgery room in 5 minutes. Brain Trauma, Drink and Drive Accident. I'll get your team to Surgery Room 7.' The nurse quickly passed the clipboard to me as I rushed to the said ward. I didn't bother to read it anyway because the surgery process was at the back of my hand. As I reached to Patient 2's bed, the curtain was closed, and there were several men as shows from the shadows. I politely slid the curtain open, as I looked at each men regretted faces.

But, those men looked too familiar. I bowed my head as I looked at my clipboard, no it couldn't be. I looked at the patient and then his name on the head board,
