Choi Jinhee

Jinhee is a lonely but smart and considerate young female who is diagnosed with a deadly disease. Her parents died two years ago, thus she and older brother has to move in with their uncle soon after. After experiencing a few unfortunate events at her previous school, she transfers into Daeguk High and makes a promise to herself that she will only focus on living the rest of her life and will never think about love.

Goo Junhoe

Junhoe is a playful, self-loving and kindhearted boy who is sometimes full of himself. Although he is known as the popular boy with good looks, athletic abilities, nice personality and musical talent, he is failing academically which doesn’t seem to matter to his admirers. He only lives alone because his father lives in another district under the reason of work after his mother died about three years ago.

Gil Eunhye

Junhoe’s childhood friend who has a long-term crush for him; explains why she keeps following him at school and nags the female schoolmates who try to approach him. She is the most popular girl in school, who came from a wealthy family and is titled ‘High School’s Princess’ because of her allure and good fashion sense.

Lee Chan

Chan is known as the school’s nerd; books and no friends, minus the big nerd eyeglasses. He is actually very friendly, fun and also has a sense of humor behind his nerd-like behavior at school – it’s just everyone aren’t able to see that.

Choi Jinho

Jinhee’s dorky older brother; he is known as the mood maker in the family. It took him a while to recover from his parents’ death, but he soon picked himself back together after getting along with his uncle whom he lives under the same roof with. He looks careless and very annoying on the outside, but is very kind and protective under the surface.

Choi Daniel

Jinhee and Jinho’s maternal uncle; and becomes their legal guardian after their parents died. He is the younger brother of their mother who is a formalist and holds the ignorant look on the outside, but he is a truly loving and sensitive man in the inside. His sister once asked him to be her children’s guardian if something ever happens to her and her husband, and although at first he rejected it, he eventually agreed to fulfill her wish.

Kim Mingyu

Jinhee’s ex-boyfriend; they have known each other since they were in playground. He is kind, popular, and everything but indestructible. He is very easy to be manipulated which often results to misfortune and regrets including losing his beloved girlfriend, Choi Jinhee.

Hwang Aerin

Mingyu’s schoolmate and self-proclaimed girlfriend; she is a devil hiding behind sweet demeanor. She is the one who manipulated Mingyu to break up with Jinhee and believes that he only belongs to her.
