So, I've been really getting into mythology and ghost stories and that sort of thing lately and it really got my creative side going nuts, so I decided to write a story using some of the awesome things I've read about. The creatures appearing in this story are all based on real myths and legends, though I have changed some of the details to better fit the narrative. I'll try to create a dictionary of sorts so everyone can keep up with what has appeared and the like. This story is going to be a collection of separate 'episodes' with an overarching plot, kind of like a written TV show. There will be romance, but not straight away, full blown true love because I want it to be vaguely realistic. Well, as realistic as a story about mythological creatures can be.

Anyway, without further ado I present to you the main character, Jun Mina, and the mysterious group of guys she's got mixed up with:

MINA

A gigantic history nerd who works in a library and doesn't really do much with her life other than eat, drink, sleep and read a lot. This soon changes when she sees a guy change into a fish man before her eyes and then gets attacked by a crazy woman with scissors and one hell of a wide smile. A bit socially awkward, but can be quite sassy when she wants to be.

SUHO

Hot library dude AKA weird fish guy AKA kind of the reason why Mina's in the mess she is. She would be angry with him, had he not also saved her life. Plus, it turns out he's a really nice guy.

KYUNGSOO

The smallest yet strongest of the unit, who spends his time reading the newspaper, praying to the Earth Goddess and not having any facial expression whatsoever. To be honest, Mina's kind of terrified of him...

BAEKHYUN

The number one mischief maker of the unit. It's not really his fault, he was genuinely born that way. Like, a witch literally created him to be like that. Mina gets along well with him, though if he hides her underwear one more time she swears she will kill him in his sleep.

SEHUN

The youngest until Mina came along, Sehun is the smartest in the team, learning everything he knows from his witch mother's collection of books. Theoretically, he and Mina should get along like a house on fire, both being mythology geeks and all, but Sehun seems determined to hold the fact that she's a human against her, so that's not happening any time soon...

KAI

Kai is the suave, y, mysterious demon we all read about in supernatural novels. Or, he would like to believe he is, anyway. To be honest, Mina finds his continuous flirting extremely irritating, and has resolved to smack him in the face the next time he 'accidentally' teleports into the bathroom when she's showering.

CHANYEOL

The self christened 'Super Ultra Mega Tech Genius With Awesome Hats' Chanyeol is the stereotypical computer geek. Who can, you know, burst into flames and stuff. Mina thinks he's a real sweetheart, though is slightly concerned about the prospect of dying an awful, fiery death if he gets too excited.

Exo-M will appear in this story (in quite an important capacity), but Exo-K form the main unit that Mina works with. 

Just a side note, I don't have anything to do with Exo. Like, at all. Not even a little bit. 

Yeah.
