Jaebum was quietly panicking while listening to his own group's Christmas song.

Mark didn't know that on Christmas something that would change his life would happen.

Jaebum and Mark looked at each other but never directly.

A few glimpses of each other before both turned their heads away in embarrassment.

It was Jaebum who found himself unsure of how to even admit his feelings to Mark.

It was Mark who thought Jaebum disliked him.

편지를 써서 주는 것 마저도 왜 힘이 들지

"I’m in love with you, why are these words so hard

Mark was confused.

Jaebum was cautious.

Both were slow and simple.

Mark didn't understand why he was dragged to an amusement park by his leader.

Jaebum felt that time had stopped when he faced Mark with a slightly embarrassed expression.

They were both on the Ferris Wheel.

Both were gazing at each other as they both tried to attempt to speak.

Jaebum softly spoke, "You might not feel the same way as me."

"But..." he trailed off as his cheeks turned a shade of pink.

"What is it, leader?" Mark smiled.

Jaebum felt his heart skip a beat as he reached out to place his right hand on top of Mark's left hand

"You see...you know you're one of my best friends, right?" he asked in a quiet voice.

Mark simply nodded.

"And...well...I started to see you differently." Jaebum said with a nod.

Mark blinked in confusion while trying to grasp the situation.

"Do you not want to be best friends with me anymore, leader?" he asked calmly.

 "No. That's not it," Jaebum answered as he shook his head.

"Then spit it out," Mark said.

Jaebum slowly got out of his seat and moved to kneel in front of Mark.

He took out a box that held the two couple rings he had gotten a few weeks ago.

He took a deep breath and looked up at Mark with solemn eyes before speaking.

"I like you, hyung. Please go out with me."

Jaebum nervously gulped while waiting for Mark's response.

Time seemed to stand still for the both of them.

The day slowly became night.

The Ferris Wheel slowly moving.

Jaebum's words slowly sinked in Mark's mind.

He could either accept or reject.

"My heartbeat sound getting louder,
you might hear it yeah

It didn't go unnoticed by Mark. 

Mark looked at Jaebum and felt his own face flush slowly.

"I...leader, why me?" he asked softly as he moved his left hand and held Jaebum's right hand.

"I don't know...you're just really special and someone I want to protect...but...I also started noticing my heartbeat faster everytime I looked at you," Jaebum merely smiled sheepishly.

Mark felt his cheeks heat up as he coughed quietly.

"My answer is..."

"My answer is...yes," Mark smiled as he reached out to take one of the couple rings from the box.

Jaebum's eyes widened before he moved to sit next to Mark with a soft smile.

Mark reached out and took Jaebum's right hand, slipping the ring he was holding and slipped it onto Jaebum's ring finger.

"Let me," Jaebum simply said as he reached for Mark's right hand.

Mark nodded and placed his hand on Jaebum's right hand.

Jaebum slipped the other couple ring on Mark's ring finger before leaning over to peck Mark's cheek quickly.

"My heart beats like a DRUM

I hope this song I wrote for countless nights

Mark blushed a little bit.

Jaebum chuckled softly.

"Let's go slow," he murmured quietly while moving to lay his head on Mark's shoulder.

Mark nodded and smiled softly.

"You know...Confession song suits us," Jaebum whispered.

"It does," Mark agreed.

They both started to sing the chorus while smiling at each other.
