"AAAACCCCKKKK!!!!" Leo shrieked as he almost slipped  on the snowy side walk

"Hyung, be careful next time" Hongbin chuckled, passing the half-annoyed and half-shocked Leo

Leo just shrugged the tease of just like the normal him; the normal quiet him. He was actually leaving from work when that happened. And the event that happened just ruined his cold and cool image.

Walking down the streets seeing couples holding hands, chatting and some were giving stolen kisses. How he wish that  he was in that situation. Only if he had courage to confess his feelings for him. Yes, him. Leo was a bi which means he like both male and female.

"Hey! Watch it!" the drunk man bumped into him

Leo scoffed as he headed straight, no certain direction. He just wanted to be alo- No, he wanted someone company, a lover. A lover like him. He had no chance at all since he's a guy after all and the man he loves like girls.

He looked up as the snow flakes fell from above. Everything was just beautiful the way it was. Everything except his love life. All of his friends told him that he needed to get laid or he will be like this forever, like a princess waiting for his prince charming to come.

He got home after taking rounds in the village. There's no one to welcome him when he come home, no sweet and delicious  smell coming from the kitchen; just the darkness always welcome him. He flopped down his bed

"I wish someone will love me. Anyone is fine. I just wanted to be loved" Leo whispered as darkness slowly invades his eyes

The next morning came and everything is fine but not until he felt something cuddled on him. It was fluffy and smooth yet it was black in color.

"What's this?" Leo sat up straight as he rub both of his eyes

What the h-

"A cat! A black cat" Leo shrieked like a fangirl

Leo carries the cat and hugged it tightly enough not to choke the cat. He just kept talking to the cat as if the can understands him -- or may be it can. He sighed in relief, relief that was he wasn't alone anymore. It may not be a person but the cat is fine as long as it stays with him.

"But what should I call yo- Oh! A collar?" Leo touched the collar, a collar that indicates someone owns the cat

"I can't keep you after all" he sulked knowing the fact that the moment of his happiness is just for awhile

"Pprraauuww" the cat purred as it kept rubbing itself on Leo

"You're a sweet kitten, aren't you?" Leo pet the cat's head as it purred

"It's time for me to go to work and it's time for you to go back to your owne-" Leo was about to pick up the cat when it suddenly become wild

The cat started to scratch its collar as if it wanted to remove the collar on it. Leo understood what the cat wanted so he removed the collar on it. When the collar was removed, it started to rub itself on Leo as if it was marking its territory.

"Does your owner hurts you?" Leo pick up the cat as he proceeded to his routine every morning

Leo left the cat under the care of someone who was also a cat lover like him. He also promised to the cat that he will return and the cat seems to understand what he said. While thinking about what happened early in the morning makes him so much happy as if everything was like a dream.

A dream come true.

He also didn't notice that he was all smiley when he reached the office. So one of his colleagues started to inform him about that.

"Oho! Leo seems like he was revived from his beautiful sleep. Say, what happened?" Ken wiggled his eyebrows as he wanted some scoop

"Nothing happened" Leo gave him a cold shoulder

"Eh~ His back to the normal Taekwoon" Ken pouted as he got no scoop

And for the meantime, he was back to the cold Leo. No one ever saw him smile nor laugh. He always  had that cold mask on him, hiding what he truly was. That's why he had no courage, no courage to tell what he wanted, to tell what he feels.

Leo looked at the place where he always work. A place where he always stay. A place where -

"What are you day dreaming about?"

"Hongbin! That gave me a shock" Leo lowered his head, trying to claim back his soul

"Looking for him?" Hongbim asked, smiling ear to ear

"None of your businesses" Leo turned to his normal cold old self 
"Okay. And if you're looking for him, he was not here" Hongbin informed as he vanished in the pool of employees

Not here? Then, where?

Leo took an early leave and it was not like him. He didn't know why, it just felt like he is stupid. Stupid because he was affected by the absence of him, a very stupid excuse.

Leo went to pick up the cat. He has not yet decided what to call it.

Why is it so hard to name a cat?

Leo went to a nearby pet shop to buy some things needed for the cat. He finished picking all the things needed for the cat so he went to pay for it.

"You've got a beautiful cat, huh?" The cashier commented

"Thanks. I saw it when I woke up" Taekwoon said, petting the cat

"When you woke up? That's quite amazing. That's $***" the cashier handed the paper bag

"Hmm" Leo hummed as he pay for the items bought

Leo said a good night before leaving the shop. Yet he hadn't heard what the cashier said. . . .

"A very unique cat, indeed"

The next morning came and Leo wasn't feeling that well. He felt like he was going to collapse sooner or later.

"Meow. Meeooww" the cat circled Leo's leg as if it was worried

"Don't worry little one. I will be fine. I already took my medicine" Leo reassured the cat

"Meow" it purred as it leaned on Taekwoon's hand

Leo left the cat in his house since the food was already there and he thinks that it will be enough for the whole day. As he keeps walking, everything looks like it was spinning. Yet, he ignored it as he proceeds to his office. Some of his colleagues noticed  the pale lips and the beads of cold sweat forming on his forehead yet he didn't care.

"Taekwoon-ah" Hongbin called him

"Yes?" He responded, looking at the direction of the voice

"You're sick, Taekwoon-ah" Hongbin said, 'worry' was evident in his voice

"Don't worry. I'm fine" Leo half smiled, trying his best to do so

"Taekwoon-ah, for this once please listen to me. If he was just here you will surely listen to him" Hongbin commented

"Where is he?" Leo shamelessly asked

"We don't know. This is the second day of his absence. We tried calling his phone and his home phone yet we can't contact him" Hongbin answered Leo

"And for his sake, please return home, take a leave" Hongbin smiled for the last as he vanished again

Where is the he?

Leo didn't listen to Hongbin's 'words of wisdom' so here he was, about to die of coldness. Heavy panting left his lips as he tried to walk straight yet his legs seems like it was about to collapse.

He soon got to his apartment and he was welcomed by his cat. A nameless cat. Leo pet the head of the cat and greeted it.

"I'm home, my kitt-" then everything went black in Leo's sight

The cat started to Leo's face to wake him up but it wasn't enough to wake him up.

Leo's POV

Today is the day. The day that I'm finally going to start working on my dream job and my dream company. I can't wait to do this!

I went in happily at my dream company. Looking at my surrounding, everyone seems like happy about their job. Smiling, talking about their works enthusiastically.

"Good morning, are you Taekwoon?" Someone greeted me with a low voice

"Y-yes, I am. Good morning" I greeted back

"Hahaha. Don't be too nervous. I'm Wonshik, by the way" he offerd a hand shake and I respectfully accepted it

"Let's go this way" Wonshik lead the way

As time flies, I fell in love with Wonshik, my superior. I always look at him like a fool and every time he caught me, he will genuinely smile at me. Every time I call his name, he will also call me and wave his hand up high.

So I decided that I will confess my feelings. . . . Without thinking much.

"I like you" I confessed

"Taekwoon-ah, I'm sorry. I don't date boys" Wonshik replied

I was astonished. I can't utter a word. My body and mind suddenly stopped working. Cold beads of sweat started rolling down my skin.

"I-I'm also sorry. Please forget what I said" then I ran off

The very next day, the news spread like a wild fire. Guys were hitting on me when thay are just ually frustrated. Some were directly offering a 'one night stand'.

I thought that this job and company was a dream but it was a nightmare.

A nightmare that will haunt me for life.

"Leo!"

I can't do this anymore.

"Leo! Hey!"

I should di-

"Yah! Jung ing Taekwoon! Wake up!"

The man of my dreams is right in front of me. . . . . .


 

And he is !!!

"What the hell?! Why are you here? And why are yoooouuuu-" I pointed up and down

"Yah! Stop that!" Hakyeon slapped my hand

Yes, Cha Hakyeon. The diva of our company is the man of my dreams.

"Can you please answer my questions?" I threw a blanket on him

"W-Well, you see" he blushed hard

"What?" I crossed my arms

"It's hard to explain so it will be better if I just show it. But promise me that you will not be scared" he shifted in his position awkwardly

"Why would I d-"

"Just promise me" he looked in my eyes as if I were under his spell

"Okay, fine" I sighed in defeat

Slowly, something grew on his head. Wait, what the hell?!

"Woah" my mouth agaped as I saw ears on his head

"Y-You don't like it, right?" Hakyeon was on the verge of crying

He suddenly stood up with a crying face and was about to run away. I pulled him and pinned him down my bed.

"I like it. 



 

No, I love you" I deeply kissed him

He was taken aback but soon he returned the kiss.

"You're my cat from now on"

"By the way, why are you absent for 2 days?"

"Well, uhhmm"

"What?"

"I'm in heat"
