Kim Qian is a seventeen year old Korean born Chinese girl that lives in the UK after she was born. She has an eight year old little brother whom she loves so much and they care for each other a lot. After the death of their parents in the UK, the siblings had to move to China to live with their aunt. After a few weeks of school, Qian started receiving one red rose every day at her school that was placed on her table. Things became complicated when Qian’s brother was kidnapped for ransom. However, it was not easy to get her brother back as the clues left by the kidnapper were hard to be understood. Many people volunteered to help her: her teacher, her desk mate, her uncle, the police, and even the rose sender. Qian took the chance to investigate her rose sender.
