“Which part of ‘I can’t’ don’t you understand?” He turned to me and gave me a cold glare. “Stop being clingy, will you?” Afterwards, he stomped to the bedroom and slammed the door closed.

I bit my lip, letting my tears poured down.

“But tomorrow is our sixth anniversary,” I said weakly in the quiet room. I inhaled deeply and went back to couch.

Guess I have to spend the night here again, I muffled my cries on the couch’s pillows, willing myself not to be heard by him.
