Heading to your locker down the narrow hallway, you held your head down and prayed that he would not spot you. You never were one for attention, yet you caught his attention after you were the tough on that he couldn’t get within two weeks. Yes, the Casanova of the school Oh Sehun. It wasn’t that you didn’t like him, in fact you was quite fond of him and had always been looking in his way from afar but you just never think of one day he might like you or even get together. Not wanting your heart to be shattered into pieces by him (just like the other naive girls) you rejected him for the date,you couldn’t be with someone that was shared with with everyone else. You paced up when you passed by his classroom but it seems like God wasn’t on your side, when Baekhyun noticed you and gestured casually towards you, telling Sehun that you were passing by. Of course, being a persistent man he is, he would not miss a chance to ask you out again for the third time in that week.
“Hey Beautiful, can we go on a date after school today?” he asked, effortlessly blocking your way. He made a bold move as he tried to caress your face, you pushed his hand away and told yourself not to fall for his tricks.
“No.” You looked away from him, he always the look that intimidated people.
“No?” he puffed up his cheeks, unsatisfied with you rejecting him for the third time in that week.
He looked so cute in that moment as he put up a look to show you that he was sad, with his bottom lip jutted out as he looked away, pretending to be upset with your rejection. You gulped and looked down, then said firmly,
“No. I did not agree to go on a date with you, and I am pretty sure that I will not go on a date with you in the future either.” You brushed past Sehun and headed straight to your locker. He watched your retreating figure, playing hard to get uh? he thought to himself.
“Let me guess, she rejected you again?” Baekhyun teased.
Sehun had never need to ask a girl more than three times before getting her on a date.
First time, they play hard-to-get.
Second time, third time, it just depends on how much effort he put into the art of seduction.
Sehun shrugged.
“She’s definitely a tough one uh?”
“Whatever, I’ll get her” Sehun was up for the chase

Ever since the third rejection, Sehun has been even more persistent in the following days, he came up with a his so-called brilliant plan which was stalking till you agree. He started showing up everywhere, and followed you around in school. At biology class (the only class that you shared), he even insisted that you’d to be his lab partner for the experiment, instead of being with Luhan. Being the teacher’s favorite student, the teacher didn’t even hesitate and simply changed your lab partner claiming that Sehun would help you in future experiments. Other girls in in class showed contempt for you being Sehun's lab partner by making you the object of scorn. You sighed, not knowing what game he was playing but you definitely weren’t too fond of it.
“Class take out your books now” the biology teacher instructed. You reached into your bag, expecting to feel your biology textbook, but there aren’t anything else other than your notepad. Your eyes knitted in confusion, damn. did I left it at home? You thought to yourself. The teacher was already not very pleased with the previous work you submitted, and written ‘see me!’ in red ink on that piece of work. You wondered what would happen this time, after she find out that you didn’t bring that darn textbook.
She scanned across the classroom checking if everyone brought their textbook and all the usual stationary needed for her class. She squinted her eyes when she was checking on some of the usual students that were always forgetful. Sehun seemed to have caught the sight of you being uneasy, he lifted his head and realized that the teacher was checking on textbook.
Just as the teacher was about to call out your name, noticing that your table was empty. Sehun pushed his textbook gently to your table and shot up from his seat. He did something that made your heart flutter and made you confused at the same time, he apologized to the teacher for not bringing his book. Since it was the ‘first time’ for him, the teacher let it go easily,

“Aren’t you eating?” Luhan asked, as Sehun looked as if he was missing something and was scanning the whole cafeteria for it.
“Don’t you know, he’ll only have appetite when he stares at y/n as he eats” Baekhyun was way too blunt sometimes and only to have Sehun wanting to punch him in his face.
In order to avoid him during lunch break, you headed to the library instead of the cafeteria, knowing that Sehun would definitely be looking for you in the cafeteria and make himself known to you.
You found a secluded corner in the library, and settled your books down on the table. Doing some revision for chemistry was definitely better than being in the cafeteria, having Sehun tease you while making the female population in school green with envy.
“What do you think Sehun see in that girl from class 3B?” you overheard the conversation of two girls behind the shelves, and perked up at the mention of his name. The other girl shrugged while checking herself out with the pocket mirror, tidying up her bangs.
“I wonder what she did to get him follow her around in school, it has been a 2 months since he first asked her out and a week since he started following her around.Probably, he hasn’t went on a date with some ordinary girl before?” she chuckled, obviously unaware the other girl wasn’t the only one listening, “Or maybe he has a bet with Baekhyun again? Like last time with that Boa girl?”
“Anyways, everyone knows that he’s a player and is just playing with her, and that girl will be naive if she actually thinks that he has a thing for her. But she is obviously enjoying all the attention that’s on her now, she used to be the unpopular-kid, and now she gets that chance to play hard-to-get,” she let out a snort of laughter.
Your eyes were getting a bit of watery, so that’s what everyone were thinking of you now? A girl that was playing hard-to-get, enjoying the limelight that was shining on her because of Oh Sehun? Unable to continue to hear the harsh comments they were discussing about you, you quickly gathered you books and headed back to your classroom hastily.
“I’m so sorry!” you immediately apologized when you bumped into someone as you weren’t exactly watching where you were going. You let out a sigh, and crouched down to pick your books up. At the corner of your eyes, you saw a familiar figure picking up your books too.
“It’s okay. Beautiful, why aren’t you in the cafeteria?” Turning your head towards the familiar figure, you saw Sehun greeting you with a big grin on his face as he crouched down, helping you with the books.
You glared at him, and harshly reached for the books in his hands. If weren’t him that started playing games with you, you wouldn’t be receiving so much hate now.
“Hey what’s wrong?” Sehun furrowed his eyebrows as he caught a sight of your slightly red eyes and tears-stained cheeks.
You pressed your lips into a thin line, and stood up with the books in your hands. Not wanting to be around him, you your heels quick to dash off to somewhere without him. without being the center of attention.
Sensing something is off, Sehun quickened his pace and followed you. Eventually, he managed to catch up with you and grip onto your arm, and turned you around swiftly. Only to be greeted by you glaring at him with your teary eyes. He frowned at the sight, not knowing that he was the one that caused it.
“What’s wrong?” he asked in genuine concern.
“You!” You looked up and met your eyes with Sehun's, “Oh Sehun, because of you, everyone in school’s judging me now. Why are you into a ordinary girl? Ordinary girl playing hard-to-get. I really don’t know what games you are playing with me, but please stop. Leave me alone okay?” You tugged off his grip on your arm with all the strength you left in you, and left him.
Sehun stood rooted to the ground watching your figure disappear down the corridors. He held his head down in remorse, not knowing that he would bring you into such situation. He truly just wanted to befriend you and teased you. He didn’t know how but he was going to make it up to you.

Three days. He really did listened to you, he left you alone. You were glad that he weren’t bothering you anymore and the ruckus among the girls was slowly dying off but you started to miss his presence. In school there were still times that you would meet Sehun like during biology class. And by leaving you alone, he even told teacher that he wanted Luhan back to be his lab partner.
Sehun watched you from afar as you stood in line, queuing up to pay for the food. He wondered what you were getting today, hoping that he could eat with you like that past week. As much as he wanted he couldn’t, he didn’t want to make you feel miserable.
“What’s up with you?” Baekhyun asked while taking a bite on his sandwich.
“Nothing” Sehun shook his head and kept silent. Staring at his food blankly, having no intention to eat.
“y/n?” Luhan teased, earning a glare from Sehun.
“Ohh our Casanova has fallen in love isn’t it?” Baekhyun chuckled amusingly, earning a smack on his arm from Sehun. Baekhyun yelped in pain, and grasped his arm.
“You gave up on her?” Luhan took a sip of his caramel iced coffee.
Sehun glared at Luhan.
“Ayyy, but if you really do like her, you should step up your game-”
“I don’t like her and see you guys later,” Sehun cut Baekhyun off immediately and took his steps lightly off to somewhere.
“He’s just livin’ in-”
“Denial” Luhan finished Baekhyun's sentence for him, earning himself a high five from Baekhyun.

It seemed like God was on his side when he recognized the girl with long falling straight hair, a slightly big cardigan and a pair of sneakers that were in perfect harmony with her denim skinny jeans. It’s now or never, come on Sehun step up your game like what Baekhyun said he thought to himself. He mustered up his courage and slowly moved towards you, heart beating faster than it ever had. Your turned around when you heard the voice call out your name. Shocked and confused when you saw him moving towards you, you pretended you didn’t hear him and walked away with the books you needed for the next lesson in your arms.
“Ya where are you going?” he caught up with you easily. When your eyes met his, instantly you titled your head down, did you really disliked him so much?
“I-” his voice came out in a mere whisper, it seemed like he couldn’t find his voice when you looked up at him blankly, curious of what he was going to say.
“I-” he stuttered.
“I need to get going” You really wanted to get away with the awkward situation you were in now, if he ain’t going to say something, it would only make sense that you leave. He didn’t allow you to take more than two steps away from him. Before you realize, he dragged you into the end of the narrow corridor along the lockers. It was almost impossible to get away or not follow him as he was keeping a tight and secure grip on you. Being alone with him in a secluded corner, you looked everywhere else but wouldn’t look at him. He wouldn’t know if he could say out the words he wanted if you looked directly at him.
“You know you were the very first girl that rejected me to go on a date. I know I always didn’t seemed serious when i asked you out on a date” he laughed bitterly and continued,”Trust me, these three days made me realized that-” he flushed as he thought of what he was going to say, he turned his head to the side, attempting to hide his burning cheeks.
“I…like you” he managed to stammered out the words, your eyes opened wide and looked up at him. Oh Sehun likes you? He tried to read your face, shock? confused? happy? annoyed? Your eyes widened with your mouth opened slightly as you gasped. For a moment, you let your heart took over your brain, allowing yourself to believe that Oh Sehun likes you.

You yanked off his grip on you, backed away from him. He watched your face break gently into a bitter smile that showed resignation, “till when, are you going to play with me?” You shook your head and looked down.
He was outraged.
“I really do like you-”
“You don’t know what you are talking abo-”
“You don’t know how I feel!” Sehun snarled at you, he gripped your arm forcefully, made you looked at him, hopefully you would see all the true feelings he had for you through his eyes, “Your the first girl that made me go insane. I want you so badly, and you’re always on my mind before I go to sleep. I was still living in denial, unsure of how to approach you till Baekhyun told me to step up my game if I really like you and here.. I am.” He released your arm, and shyly reached for your hands. He held both of your smaller hands in his bigger ones, it with such affection, at that moment he held his world. Your heart was telling you go for it, yet your brain reminded you he was a Casanova.
Sehun seemed to know your worries and continued, “I know I’ve always been a not really good boy in the past,” He chuckled to himself, he saw the glint in your eyes, you gave him a shy smile that made your eyes curved into crescent-moon shape.
“But trust me, I really really like you y/n” at this point, his cheeks were colored bright red, just like any other guys confessing their puppy love to a girl. He seemed so genuine at the moment.
He thought it was going to end bad when you retrieved your hands from his touch. His heart skipped a beat when you slid your arms around his waist, not aware that you summoned all your courage.
You managed to muffled in his chest “I like you too Sehun”
