CHAPTER 2
EXILEIt was early morning when the first bombing began. Minseok was woken up way before his alarm clock go off. He sat right up in his bed, waking up Jongdae in the process.
BOMB! Another distant rumble shook the ground. Minseok pulled off his blanket, held Jongdae’s hand and pulled him out of the bed. Little bits of dust and debris fell out of their room ceiling. The house shook dangerously.
“Come on,” Minseok urged, “We have to get out of here!”

The tears in Jongdae’s eyes blinded him. He was afraid. It was the first time in his life that he had seen so much blood, so much violent. People were yelling as they ran. Their bodies engulfed in the fire. The air reeked of foul smell. He stumbled over the uneven ground and noticed he had stepped over dead bodies. His heart lurched. He swore his heart stopped as he felt his fingers grabbing at nothing.
It took Minseok a little too lon
