Raina and her parents were always moving from city to city when she was little. Her dad's job took them all over the country. Eventually, they settled in New York for a few years. Raina loved it there and after the birth of her little brother, she thought she was there to stay. She was crushed when she learned they were moving yet again. What was worse, they were moving halfway across the world; to Korea.

After moving into her new home and transferring to her new school, Raina gets an after school job (with persuasion from her mother) working in a small clothing store in a nearby mall. She works with some of her classmates, some of which know how she feels about living in a strange country. But because she was always moving around, Raina didn't have many friends or close friends for that matter. She doesn't like to let people in because she's afraid she'll lose them again. Raina's even more reluctant on love; refusing to fall in love just to avoid the heartbreak that comes with parting. However, a foreigner just like her is making that very hard. What will she do when she's realizes she's falling for him?
