Better Than Air

Description

"I... don't really know what you're expecting from me now," Wonshik mumbles, feeling like an idiot. "It's not like I have a ring in my back pocket or something. I don't even have a back pocket."

Foreword

Rating: PG

a/n: apparently writing disgustingly sweet navi fics cures high fever and tonsillitis and i haven't written about this particular topic so far either, and i've come to notice that at some point most if not every fanfiction writer tries their hand at it so... here... idk... it's so cold outside and navi are happy sparkles popping in the fireplace when you have a quilt on your lap and a mug of hot tea in your hands as you sit in the airmchair.

Chapter 1: I can imagine the wedding disasters to come and Hakyeon turning into bridezilla O_O that aside, this fic was perfectly awkward and sweet. Just get married already /giggles and fawns over navi/

Chapter 1: Holy moly! This is insanely beautiful. I didn't expect a marriage proposal but it surprised me in a very good way. Navi are so good together, even if with Wonshik's klutziness and Hakyeon's bluntness. It was really enjoyable

Chapter 1: How to put my feelings towards this into words. I had a little breakdown over these two last night, basically crying over their comfort and naturalness and how more people need to love them coughs, and this is my dose of morning feels. Wonshik's klutziness is something I find very endearing and characteristic of him and I feel he would mess up in front of Hakyeon even with words that he's so confident in and Hakyeon will always be patient with him to ease his nervousness even though he's pretty much a wreck himself, but he can ground himself better. And ah, Wonshik's eternal protectiveness over his sister - I seriously think he'll cry at her wedding, he's just so gentle and attached. Usually you'd read this scenario with their roles reversed, as in Wonshik would be the one asking Hakyeon, so this is refreshing and so, so adorable. That little remark of Hakyeon's "I'm not made of porcelain" made me think of another of your stories which I loved as well, and even though Wonshik says he knows that, I still think he just feels the need to protect him, regardless that he's completely capable of doing so himself. Wept at their long, long kiss and the happy crying of Hakyeon and Wonshik's little recollection. Everything just flows so nicely and I just really love it. Thank you for writing it c:
