Chapter 1: [Invitation]

Two weeks before the high school reunion, everyone in the class of 2007 receives an invitation.

Jae Rim opens the envelope and looks at the invitation. After reading it, he just leaves it on the table. He picks up his cup of tea and takes a sip. He sets the cup of tea down.

Tae Hyeong walks into Jae Rim’s office and hands him a folder of files.

“Hyeong, here’s the file.”

“Just leave it here. I’ll look at it when I have the chance.”

Taehyeong puts the folder on Jaerim’s table. Taehyeong stands there quietly looking around with his hands behind him. Taehyeong looks at Jae Rim’s table and sees the invitation.

“Oh, you got the invitation, too. Are you going?”

Jae Rim clears his throat. “I don’t know, yet.”

“You should go. Don’t you want to see our friends? It’s been 8 years already. I wonder how they’re all doing. Too bad, I can’t go.”
Jae Rim gets up from his seat and pats Taehyeong on the back. “Just get the meeting ready.”
