Partners in Crime

Description

Haneul and Jongin have been friends since birth. They've gotten into a lot of trouble together, but nothing they couldn't worm their way out of. When Haneul suddenly finds herself pregnant, she looks to Jongin for help. His solution: get married. With a fake wedding and a baby on the way, the two are fighting to keep it together. But what happens if this strictly platonic marriage becomes something more?

Foreword

She came to his door at four in the morning. Her eyes were puffy, red, with mascara streaming down her cheeks.

"Jongin," she whispered, her voice hoarse.

"What is it?" He asked, opening the door wider and motioning for her to come in.

She swallowed and walking in shakily. Jongin closed the door behind them. When he turned around, she was already in his living room, laying down on his couch.

"Haneul?" He asked as he sat on the floor by her head.

She was sobbing, her hands covering her face. Her whole frame shook, trembing.

"Jongin, I'm in a lot of trouble," she said finally, wiping her face and smearing her makeup even more.

"What happened? He grabbed her hand. He had never seen her like this before.

"Jongin..." She faltered. "I'm pregnant."
