Chen Jialou is a 30 year-old transgender man. He realized he'd been trapped in the wrong body of a girl when he was only 4 years old! After being heartbroken after a suggestion to break up by his girlfriend of 3 years, Jialou gets into a car accident and end up as a 30 year-old man in the 17th century named Fan Chang Qing, branch leader of the Heaven and Earth Society. Throughout his life there, he gets into MANY love affairs with the main female characters of the story.
