I am a prosecutor. My job is mainly to prosecute someone and obviously working for the government. Few days ago, I received a new case, an interesting one to be exact.

A case of love, lost and betrayal.

Maybe.

Or there might be a hidden clue somewhere in between the thin lies of life or the thickness of someone’s dignity.

I am a prosecutor. And my job is currently to search for an answer.

This story revolved on the life of Park Chanyeol, a quite well-structured prosecutor in his mid 20’s. A fresh graduate from SNU (Seoul National University) whom recently passed his bar exam. Of being the youngest prosecutor in his department, his senior lawyer decided to test him by letting Chanyeol to solve the most mysterious yet complicated case which happened few years back. It started with a smile but ended with cries.

The case started with a girl, known as Georgia amongst her friends. Due to her massive love for George of the Jungle, her colleagues decided to give such nickname since she’s been head over heels towards the topless jungle guy. But that’s not the main story that we need to talk about. On 23^rd of January 2012, Seo Jihyun or known as Georgia was found dead in her apartment. Her body was found covered with blood while her head was badly injured. Autopsy shown that; the killer had hit her head hard probably on the floor or wall before killed her by using a hair-dryer. Yes. A hair-dryer which commonly use to dry hair instead of killing a person. The extreme heat burned half of her face, resulting the damage of her eyeballs. But later, it was found that she didn’t die because of the previous action. They conclude Jihyun died after committing suicide because there’s a long scar right on her left wrist, indicating that she’s trying to cut herself off.

When the CCTV lead them to nothingness, Chanyeol started to get panic. Everything he did only bring him to a dead end. Not until he met with a certain person name Oh Sehun whom he claimed to be Jihyun’s younger brother and brought the whole team to the world of terror.

“Oh Sehun – Have you ever heard about this person, Jin-hyung?”

“Huh? What?”

“Oh Sehun, his name.”

“Silly, you’re the prosecutor and I’m only a doctor. Don’t you think it would be weird if I had known him before?”

“Sounds awful, but you seem to know lot of people, well, lots and lots of people, hyung. Maybe you did heard about him somewhere before. Just saying.”

“I don’t know. Come on Chan, if I ever knew or know him before, you would be the first person to know.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

“Not knowing doesn’t mean not recognizing.”

“Excuse me?”

“You’re Park Chanyeol, right?”

“Yes, that’s me.”

“After discussing with my family members, we decided to close this case immediately. I don’t want to let my sister suffered after what had happened to her.”

“I’m sorry, Mr. Oh. But this is about justice. We do need to find the criminal! It’s my job to do so.”

“But I don’t.”
