"Are you sure we can't wait for the Witch instead?" Sehun asked, staring at Jongdae with doubt, and picked some lint off of his dress shirt.

It took Jongdae a minute to respond, his nose stuck in a very old and weary book. "Look," He looked up, his expression bored. "If you want to- wait a sec." He closed the book with a loud snap and sauntered right to a molding wall, where a torn and scratched up calendar loosely hanged, flipping a few pages over. "Ah, yeah. That hag- I mean, the Witch won't be back for six months."mo

Sehun's face paled. Six months? He doesn't have that much time to wait. "Where did she even run off to?"

"Well," Jongdae crinkled his nose. "She said something about collecting materials to create another one of her doohickeys?" He slightly nodded to the direction where metallic objects were piled up. They all looked broken.

"So it's either you choose your last option, which is me, or get up and walk out."

The prince pursed his lips, glanced at the intern who's twirling his feather earring, and sighed. He waved his hand in defeat. "Fine. Sure. Just do what you have to do."

Jongdae smiled, suddenly holding up a bottle filled with moldy looking goop. "Will do, your Highness."
