In my old school, they would pass down the books from student to student and we'd have a sticker in the beginning on which every student had to write their name. In case you lost it or damaged it so the techers would know who did.

It went back to 5 years prior or something. And I was thinking, how cute would it be if Hongbin got Taekwoon's old textbook? And this kind of popped up.

Hongbin sighed, opening his textbook. He let his eyes skim across the pages, trying to desperately keep his mind on the rambling of his math teacher. But as an eager student, Hongbin had already made a few things in advance, causing him to be bored in class right now. And if there was one thing Hongbin hated, it was being bored in class. 

He began flipping through his workbook, trying to look at some other problems he could make a start on, yet a little scribble in his notebook caught his attention.  

'It’s been such a long time since I’ve come outdoors to feel the blowing wind 
I collapse into a sudden spell of loneliness, 
As I walk on the familiar road you pulled me down by the hands 
In the sadness of your absence, I count my steps as I head back home' 

And Hongbin smiled. He would recognise those lyrics anywhere. And apparently, this person was as much of a fan as he was. Which was a rare thing, really. 

He began counting in his head, the release of the album being in 2009. That meant that, at best, it was the student from 2009 who wrote it.  

He went back to the beginning of his book, tugging his bottom lip in between his teeth. But ultimately, he didn't care and took his phone, holding it underneath his table and opening his Facebook. It was surprisingly easy to find the guy.  

Jung Taekwoon. Highest Level of Education; Seoul High School. Occupation; Midfielder at South Korea National Soccer Team. Hongbin rose his eyebrows. So this guy was actually famous. He let his curiosity get the best of him and clicked some pictures.  

Taekwoon's profile picture was one from a distance of him running on a soccer field and Hongbin scrolled through his page and actually found some admiration him. The guy had some little kids who were his admirers and he replied to every single post on his wall, even though there were countless ones. And suddenly it hit him.  

He was the legendary graduate from their school who all the girls were talking about whenever there was a break and crushed on while the guys just joined into the conversation talking about his form while he played. Hongbin wasn't a sports fan in general, so he never really paid attention. but seeing the other's  face made him understand his platonic admires a lot more. 

But still, he got incredibly nervous. What if he would get so many messages and wouldn't even see his? He hit the PM button just in case, heart thumping loudly. Maybe he would see that one? 

'Are you alright?' 

It didn't take long for Hongbin's phone to buzz. Maybe two or three minutes. At first he wanted to ignore it, but it might have been one of his friends asking about their meet up after school. So he took his phone from his pocket, nearly choking when he saw it was his Facebook notification instead. 

'I am.. Why are you asking?'   

Hongbin decided to just take a picture, feeling lucky that he tricked his teacher in giving him the Wi-Fi code. And it would come off less creepy than saying he just happened to stumble onto his handwriting. He had photographic evidence to back him up. 

'This book was yours, wasn't it?' 

'Oh my god. I'm sorry I just liked the lyrics. There's nothing wrong with me I swear!' 

Hongbin snorted, but covered it up by coughing.  

'Don't worry. I like Park Hyo Shin too.' 

'..You do?' 

'Yes. Have you heard Overcoming Myself yet?' 

'YES!'  

'Wait. Aren't you supposed to pay attention in class?' 

'I already studied ahead. And you basically distracted me by scribbling in my book. ' 

'I could tell a teacher you know.' 

It was silent for a while and Hongbin was starting to think that he pushed his luck just a bit too much. 

'Want to grab a cup of coffee with me?' 

Hongbin just blankly stared at his screen. Did Jung Taekwoon really just ask him to meet up? 

'You know, to talk about Park Hyoshin?  

'And not have you rat me out and pay for a book I haven't used in three years because i wrote in it.'' 

'School ends at four. I'll come to the one around the corner. You know it?' 

'How could I forget. I'll see you then.'  

Hongbin had to contain himself to not let his smile crack his face in half.
