About Veridis Quo.
— While camaraderie, fun, friendship and strong bonds are important, it should not be forgotten that the essence of roleplaying is to play a role.
Veridis Quo is a non-au, semi to full literate roleplay group that aims to gather roleplayers who value the accurate portrayal of the idols they play while strictly observing literacy and character development.

GUIDELINES

001 / First things first, SUBSCRIBE to the thread before placing your reservation and application. We will be checking. Upvotes are not compulsory but greatly appreciated!
002 / We are only accepting Korean idols for the meantime. Please research your character and find out as much as you can about them. The main goal of VERIDIS is to be a haven for roleplayers who actually play their characters really well to the point where one can second guess if it's actually the real idol behind the screen.
003 / LITERACY IS IMPORTANT. While roleplaying is a hobby and an escape from the stress real life brings, illiteracy won't exactly let you play your role properly. Emulate your character's quirks, personalities and mannerisms through lovely sets of beautifully strewn words. Literacy can be lenient in PMs and other situations that see fit.
004 / Any POVs are allowed. The main form of interactions can be an action, script or paragraph.
005 / Take advantage of parentheses (( )) and brackets [[ ]] or any form of OOC indicators.
006 / Any form of love is allowed (, yuri, etc.) but make sure you act out your character's journey of love. Have them freak out, be confused, and get into slumps and funks and not just get into a relationship instantly. Marriages are allowed, pregnancies aren't. If your idol is currently in a relationship in real life, it is up to you to play out that part or tweak that certain aspect for roleplaying purposes.
007 / Greet new members IN CHARACTER. Avoid mentioning the roleplay in your welcomes (i.e. Welcome to Veridis Quo) since that would be unrealistic. Be creative. DO NOT introduce your character to another especially if THEY ALREADY KNOW EACH OTHER.
008 / Activity checks will be done at least bi-monthly and they will most likely be unannounced. To verify your application, name one variety show/drama that your character has been in.
009 / Keep in PMs as much as possible. Be mindful of the age of your characters. Also, it would be very out of character if an idol blatantly spoke up about their ual desires, wouldn't it? Keep those posts out of the wall and the timeline.
010 / Keep all IC drama realistic and relevant. OOC drama and anon hate on the confessions will not be tolerated. Double accounts are not allowed. Character changes are unlimited, but remember to talk to an admin first before doing so.
HOW TO JOIN

001 / SUBSCRIBE FIRST as mentioned in the rules. Upvotes are appreciated!
002 / Check the masterlist for the character you desire. Do take a look at the wishlist (to be created) as well!
003 / Once you've chosen your character, comment below with the application form and wait for an admin to approve your application.
004 / Once your application is approved, you have 48 hours to create/recycle your account.
005 / et your alternate name as "Quo". Do not use Chinese/Japanese/Korean characters. Stylize your names and make sure it's recognizable. (i.e. Sheen JMin, Bae Joohyvn)
006 / When you're done, PM the AFF base account with the link to your profile and wait for one of the admins to add you. We will add you to the groups once you've accepted our friend requests.
007 / Do not add anyone else until you've been introduced to the groups. Do not add outsiders as well; this is a CLOSED roleplay and we will find out if you've done otherwise.
008 / Talk to everyone. Put in some effort to write a short greeting on their wall. And it would be even better if you could write a short scenario so that the two of you will have more things to talk about. Be active at least 3 days a week on the wall. Interactions via inbox shall not be counted.
009 / Most importantly, ABIDE BY THE RULES AT ALL TIMES. They are there for a reason.
