To say that their little kitchen conversation shook Baekhyun to the core would be a huge understatement , it shook him all the way to his brain cells that decided to give up on him and clicked all the right bottons to make a fool out of himself he was sure he looked like a retarted puppy shaped potato , taking too long to react to every single thing the giant  said taking more time registring it , and taking two forevers and a half to respond to whatever the taller said 

It would be nice if they had longer than 2 sentences conversations.

He really wanted to talk with the latter he really did from the deepest bottoms of his heart , especially after all the things the other did for him , he was taking care of him feeding him housing him clothing him , and he even wanted to be his friend , but his comunication skills kind of died along the years , he didn't get the chance to talk much after the deprature of his mother , his vocabulary consisted of mainly yes no sorrys , these were the only instant answers he could come up with , if he had to say something else (which only accured on Chanyeol's presence) that took a little longer to come out

but he couldn't help it , adding to his social disabilities Chanyeol didn't make it easy , even now that it's been 3 weeks since the cup thingie they still have trouble to have a full conversation or do things together , things always got weird , suuuuuuuuuuuper weird  ,  like right now Baekhyun was hiding in Chanyeol's very big closet helping a squeirl that was was giving birth , with bloodshot eyes from crying too much , and a paranoid Chanyeol with ripped clothes and a blue bruise decorating his left eye looking for the brunet everywhere

 10hours earlier

31/3/2017  10am  Chanyeol's office 

Chanyeol and Sehun were orking together .... a.k.a Chanyeol on his phone doing who knows what and Sehun doing everything 

"Chanyeol your eating grin makes me wanna barf in your mouth , get your up here we're here to work "

"too much delicacy in one sentence" without even sparing sehun a look

"my body language will turn *delicate* too if you don't come here about right now "

"fine fine i'm coming" he sighted

"wow you're so energetic i think i'll faint , what's up with you lately you look like a hightschooler all googoo and rainbows for her crush , who is this girl that  got even the park Chanyeol around her pinky "

"it's not a girl"

"you can't fool me Chanyeol , i know a lovestruck idiot when i see one ... and i'm seeing you "

"you should get your eyes checked "

"stop playing dumb"

CHAN'S POV :

 why is he my friend again ?

and yeah BAEK IS A HUMAN PUPPY 

he even makes puppy noises when he sleeeps with his mouth slightly open and hugging a big yellow pillow

nope i was not checking him out

i was just making sure he was well covered

for 2hours ..... because he could've moved and kicked the blankets away

just making sure 

i'm a caring friend , mind you

*he finished his work with sehun with the least amount f exchanged words possible with the blonde idiot and looked at his phone for the billionth time this morning waiting for a text from a certain human puppy but still nothing *

he said he would text me today ..... that he wanted to show me something , Baek never came to me  to do something together  he's so silent  but he's so cuuuute, as a friend of course.

i couldn't beleive my eyes when he came to me this morning and asked if i could come home for lunch , my mind went blank because of his sparkling eyes and sweet voice

he said that he would text me when exactly i should come but it's already 14:20

END POV

he worked to distract himself but as usual work can never take the brunet out of his brain , he was hunting his thoughts in a not so friendish way but he would never admit that out loud .... cause he's his friend 

the more the clock ticked te more anxious Chanyeol got it was past 15h when he decided it was time to go check on whatever the hell happened to Baekhyun because it was way passed lunch time 

but of course the world hates him and he had an emergency meeting , that lasted 3 freak fracking hours by the end of it Chanyeol was boiling

 He checked his phone , a *no new messages*   greeted his eyes and Chanyeol decided it's his new most hated sentence in the world

he was so eager to get to the mansion , to see Bakhyun but of course the skies hate him 

someone just had to bang his car from behind real hard ( AN : this sounds so wrong lol )

he parked got out of the car cursing under his breath and went to the other driver , he was greeted with the driver's fist in his eye

*hits chanyeol's same eye again*

"WHAT THE IS WRONG WITh YOU" 

a big fat load of punches fllowed soon after , and they ended in the nearest police station where ,what's even better is that his phone was taken away from him , and that's exactly how the very classy CEO of park corporations looked very much like a drug addict with his blue eye , ripped clothes , but mostly for his face expressin that looked like one of a serial killer more than a druggie's

 he felt like diying

after what seemed like the eternety to Chanyeol he was finally out of that place the first thing he did of course was open his inbox and   *no new messages*   

"" he screamed while kicking the streetlight that was the only source of light , wait what?it was defenetly his most hated sentence 

it's night time

IT'S NIGHT TIME  

and no sign of the so called lunch he was promised

Chanyeol's face turned even darker if that was even possible and didn't wait another second to sprint running in the direction of his mansion he didn't care that he looked like a dirty psycho , he didn't care that he was injured , he didn't care that he was more than a 100 mile away from his place , all he cared about was Baekhyun 

but life hated him alot today 

his heart was hammering his ribcage his head was about to explode all he wanted was to know he was safe and sound , and to see his smile oh his so pretty smile , he longed for that smile , he needed that smile , he wanted to protect that smile no matter what 

                     is this how it feels to be "friends" with you ?
