Just A Little Longer

Description

The time for us to seperate comes everyday without fail.

It was my first time, feeling that way.

I’ve never felt it before.

So I quickly fell for you.

And I think it's time that I do something about it.

Because I need you to feel the same way.

My heart plummeted. The bus was crawling to a stop. “Jinyoung, see you tomorrow.” Something stirred in me, and my hand snatched Haru’s wrist as she was about to get off the bus. “Jinyoung? What is it?” Don’t go. “Oh, nothing. Just, be safe okay?” I weakly smiled as I let go of her wrist, longing for her soft warmth already. “Jinyoung, I can take care of myself you know.” Her light laugh sounds like tinkling bells. I know, but I want to take care of you.

With that, she trotted down the cramped aisle, catching everyone’s eyes with her bright, radiant aura. But the glistening shine of attraction in everyone’s eyes dulled into a glance of pity when they took notice of the long, thin cane grasped in her slender hand.

Right before she went out the little bus door, she turned to the bus driver and gave him a smile. “Bye mister. Drive safely.” She wished. The driver returned the smile, and scolded light-heartedly “Okay okay, now hurry and go. It’s sundown, be careful!” But she was already gone.

My back slacked, and a sigh escaped my mouth automatically. It’s always like this, everyday. Because everyday, the most amazing girl I know walks into this cold, lonely bus, and lights up the world of every person to cross her path. But she what doesn’t know, and she probably never will know, is that she is my world.
