Vorasi, the capital city in the land of vampires and werewolves, has been wartorn and destroyed and rebuilt for hundreds of years. Its inhabitants are subject to death and disease and murder, all of them born into a life they couldn't have ever chosen. But, it's about time the war comes to an end. 

 The werewolves live in the south of Vorasi in slums and shacks and crumbling houses. The vampires see them as mutts and dirty filth, uncivilized and disgraceful. But, the werewolves are powerful and quick, a tough enemy to fight against. Alpha Park Chanyeol believes he has the upperhand in the war, finally within in a position to bring the fighting to an end. 

The vampires cover the north of Vorasi, civilized yet secretive among themselves. Humans are at their dispense, the human race nearly extinct due to the constant feeding and hunting by vampires. The vampires' leader, Zhang Yixing, will do whatever it takes for the Great War to finally end, whether it be in peace or suffering; there had been enough suffering for the hundreds of years before.
