One of the dressing room for the Mix & Match show. Some clothes were properly hanged on the hampers meanwhile the coffee table was full of phones left there in a hurry. The throw pillows on the couch were in disarray. Some magazines littered the floor. The staffs and the idols obviously left in haste. The room was almost deserted. Almost. A young lady was sitting in front of a vanity table. She was leisurely browsing through Instagram when someone slammed the door opened.

“Calling Ms. Lee Hayi, let’s go,” a young lady shouted and entered the room. “It’s about to start,” she added.

“Okay,” Lee Hayi emotionlessly answered and continued scrolling through her phone. She didn’t really wanted to be here. Someone just left a note telling her to watch the show. She would have ignored it but then Suhyun saw it and dragged her to come and watch Mix & Match Episode 8 show.

“Yah, come on. Let’s support the guys,” Suhyun whined and grasped Hayi’s both arms to stand her up. Hayi let Suhyun pulled her up. Hayi looked at Suhyun with bored eyes. She really didn’t like to be here. She knew that something would happen and she was leaning that ‘it’s gonna be bad’. She was not supposed to be here. She bet her that the mighty Yang Hyunsuk would be furious when he saw her watching the show, live. Besides, there’s a TV in this dressing room. They could watch it here but Suhyun insisted on watching it live like what the note suggested.

“I’m tired, Suh. Can I just stay here?” she asked and tried her best to look worn-out which was by all means easy because she really felt weary. Suhyun looked at her with scrutinizing eyes then she sighed. Lee Hi looked really exhausted.

“O----“ Suhyun didn’t finished what she was about to say when they heard a voice. A very familiar voice.

“What is this?”

They both looked at the door where the staffs were excitedly running towards the stage. The show was starting.

“Hanbin-ah, happy birthday.”

They looked at each other, eye both widening. Then Suhyun squealed. “Oh my gosh. It’s oppa. Let’s go,” she enthusiastically said and dragged her. Hayi just made faces while Suhyun dragged here, not even towards the backstage but in front of the stage. Suhyun immediately found a good spot to view the performance. It was on the left side of the crowd near the stage. Good thing the crowd didn’t really noticed them due to the staffs that were also watching with them plus they were on the other side of the barricade.

“I heard Bobby-oppa and Hanbin-oppa wrote the lyrics for this song. I’m so excited to hear this Unnie,” Suhyun said, a smile plastered on her face which made her looked lovelier. If only Hayi would smile like that, she would be more beautiful.

Hayi stared at Bobby. The way he carry himself was remarkable. The all-black outfit that he paired up with his trusted sneakers truly bring out the best in him. He looked so manly just standing right there and rapping. The way his voice produced the words made it so sincere. Of course it’s heartfelt. He always rap with so much emotions. Hayi couldn’t help but smile. He’s still that person who can make her smile no matter the circumstances.

“Oh my gosh. They’re all so handsome. Especially Bobby-oppa,” Hayi heard Suhyun muttered and a stifled shriek followed. She obviously liked this performance even though it was just starting.

“Yeah,” Hayi answered which made Suhyun looked at her. A playful grin formed on Suhyun’s face. Hayi didn’t really comment about people’s appearances, let alone boys so this was new to her.

“Which one are you agreeing with Unnie? That they are all handsome or Bobby-oppa stands out the most?” Suhyun teasingly asked but Hayi was not paying attention to her. She was digesting every word that Bobby rapped.

“You know my world would stop when I’m not with you.”

Hayi closed her eyes by instinct. It’s so long ago when she heard that same voice said something like that. She sadly smiled when she realized it was already 2 years. 2 years had already passed since the last time they talked. How time passed by so fast. She was correct all along. “Time would just fly fast. Before we know it, we are together again.” She said it to him 2 years ago.

“Unnie? Are you okay?” Hayi heard Suhyun asked so she just nodded even though she felt the opposite. She was not fine. The past was being slammed straight to her face through this song and she couldn’t help but drown on her emotions.

“Are you sure?” Suhyun asked again which made Hayi open her eyes. She nodded again although she knew she was not convincing Suhyun at all.
