Never again...

Never let you go.
"Earn....Earn!" That voice.... The voice I love... 
 
"Huh?..Pete?..." I slowly open my eyes. His face was so close to mine. That handsome looking face.. The face I love..
 
"Did you have a nightmare?" He smile at me.. That smile.... The smile I love...
 
"Pete!!" I pull him closer and hugged him.. The smell I love...
 
"What happened?"
 
" I thought... You were...I... You... Gone..." My tears kept falling down as I hug him tightly. 
 
"There there.. It was just a dream.. Stop crying...." I could feel his hand patting my head. The touch I love...
 
"I am sorry...I will never lie to you again!" I sobbed and sobbed
 
"You lied to me?" His hand stopped patting me.
 
"No!! I will never! Please don't leave me!" I held him tighter,  Fearing that I might lose him again.
 
"Earn...I will never leave you." He holds me closer to him as he whispered into my ears.
 
Thanks God it is just a dream.. Thanks you Pete.. Thanks you...
 
"Pete.. I will never let you go again..."
"I will be forever by your side"
"I love you.. Pete"

Chapter 2: the short stories can get very gripping. this is turning out to be a rather compelling read. so is Pete dead? is earn bedridden in the hospital? he sounds like he maybe mentally unstable too (since they have to give him sedatives) or did Pete have amnesia?
