The Gods above must be playing a terrible joke on him. Mino easily spots him in the crowd - tilting his head in the exact same way he did three years ago as he laughed, the corners of his eyes creasing into familiar pretty crescents, his brown locks falling over his eyes. The sight not only renders Mino speechless, it also starts up a heavy unsteady pounding in his chest.

Jinwoo’s hands slide down to his shoulders, barely touching his skin. Yet Mino, can feel the burn - can feel the gentle flame lapping his flesh. Mino’s drawing pencil slips out of his sweaty fingers, falling to the floor and rolling under the bed.

The sound of a wrangled sob from behind the bathroom door pulls Mino out of his reverie. It’s the sound broken people make at three in the morning when the pain is too much for their body and mind to take.
