Where the daughter of Tdoong Entertainment's CEO is working undercover as a company employee, and the new intern claims she knows who it is. Oh, and Manager Chou Tzuyu has this big, fat crush on her assistant, Park Jihyo. Too bad Jihyo thinks she's a slacker, and too bad she doesn't like her boss the same way. Nope. Definitely not. Not even a little.
Sana has always felt like the second lead in the story of Nayeon's life. And you know what they say about second leads: They never get the girl in the end. Not even if the universe suddenly decides to give her the power to, in her new friend Kim Dahyun's words, "stop time" for seven minutes every day.
Chou Tzuyu, a transfer student from Taiwan, finds a way to escape from situations that make her life just a bit more difficult than it already is. That is, except for a situation called Kim Dahyun.
No one can seem to reach Dahyun during the Lunar New Year holidays. Of course the members unanimously vote Tzuyu to check on her for them. Despite not being confident that Dahyun would even pick her phone up, of course Tzuyu would do it.
Nayeon and Sana kiss on some nights. Wordlessly, they agree to never talk about it in the morning.
Wherein Sana talks about her weird feelings towards Nayeon to pretty much everyone except Nayeon.
She remembered who Lisa was staring at that day, with the same eyes Chaeyoung always had as she gazed at her herself. She remembered realizing it was not her. And she remembered the exact moment she started swallowing down the first marigold petals trying to make their way up .
The three times Jennie tries to protect Chaeyoung, and the one time Chaeyoung protects Jennie.
It was an absurd rumor, one that obviously was made up by a child's mind, but it spread like wildfire throughout the elementary school and stuck like gum to a shoe: Anyone who made friends with the quiet Korean girl Roseanne Park would die. or Everybody loved Park Chaeyoung (because who didn't?), but there was a time in her life when people avoided her like the plague.
Jisoo had a knack for being relentlessly curious. Fortunately for her, she had a perceptive girlfriend who was equally as intrigued as she was with regards to whatever was going on—or not going on—between Chaeyoung and Jennie. So the moment Jisoo voiced out her thoughts about it, Lisa was quick to jump in and agree that yes, she also noticed, and no, her precious Jichu was not just imagining things.
"Yah, Lisa," I said tersely, looking away briefly, trying my hardest to ignore the heat on my cheeks and the pounding in my ears due to the embarrassment of being caught. This girl is too smart for her own good, seriously. "Why do you even care so much?" or Lisa is just, in fact, too smart to be lied to. Even by Jisoo, who thinks she's not half bad at making up stories.
Much like everywhere else, Chaeyoung felt out of place. Like she was always on the outside looking in. She was frustrated with this discomfort. She wanted to know what was wrong already, so she could immediately work on fixing it and getting everything back to what it once was. Why couldn't it be that straightforward? or Chaeyoung always finds Jennie staring at her these days, and she wonders if she committed some kind of crime by staring back.
She was going to ask whether Chaeyoung meant what she said earlier that day about dating Jennie, if she were a man. Then she was going to ask her, quite brazenly, if she would like to date her for real. or A dose of almost-plotless Chaennie fluff, because these two are undeniably adorable together.
