Amber Liu is a poor coffee shop worker with an ailing mother. Her biggest dream is of becoming a singer-songwriter. She doesn't want anything to distract her from her goals, then in walks Krystal Jung, a business major at a top university from a wealthy family who believes she's got everything all figured out.
Amber loves to work, but she also loves the time she has away from work to spend learning new things and hanging with friends. She spends so much time seeing the large world around her that she can't see someone very close to her is changing.
Krystal is a pious girl. She knows what God expects of her now and in the future. She understands his words of wisdom as it applies to her and the world around her. Her older sister, Jessica, serves as her example. Krystal also knows that Satan places obstacles in your path to tempt you away from the light.
