Irene stepped out of the shower cubicle. After the warmth of the hot water, the morning was cold and a draft under the door draped cold air over her skin, raising goosebumps in its wake. She shivered, wrapped the towel around herself and stepped forwards. Only one light was lit above the sink, and in the dim room its feeble glow gave birth to shadows larger than life.
