A collection of 30 small drabble/oneshots that link up to form the story of life long friends and loves, Cha Hakyeon and Jung Taekwoon
Hakyeon has a secret, one he can never tell anybody else and he is tired. He's tired of his heart not beating the way it should.
Hakyeon indulges in Taekwoons affetion. He lives and breathes for the love of the other, for the secret stares he recieves, the tenderness shared between them. He ignores the heartbroken stares that weigh heavily on him, that turn the loving stares in burdens due to the hurt they are causing. Hakyeon knows his selfishness is killing the other, that it is tearing him apart yet he still indulges until the other can't take. Hakyeon knows how to fix this, to fix the hurt his selfishness has cause
Hakyeon was tired and stressed. So were the rest of the band. Hakyeon snaps and it haunts him, hurts him to see how his attitude is destroying them, destroying his beloved members happines. When Taekwoon wakes up Hakyeon's gone with only a note to explain why. Taekwoon leaves voicemails for his leader, praying he'll come home but after six months he is starting to lose hope of ever seeing the other again.

Unlike the soft ending that rang out from under my delicate fingers, we ended in a mess of broken and twisted sharps and flats and broken chords, hitting all the wrong notes on the way down. We never had a proper ending, no closer or comfort, just pain and dark melodies composed of our tears.
