but truthfully? jennie kim is the total opposite of the image her peers have conceived.

while her grades may seem effortless, she reviews and self-learns her materials often in the privacy of her home because she can't focus well when it comes to listening to lectures and taking notes. she does dress like a rocker occasionally but most of her actual compositions are soft, acoustic pieces. her solitude isn't the result of being a haughty misfit who thinks she's above people; she's really just a shy kid with a bad case of resting b*tch face. jennie has been stuck in this plight since she moved back to korea from new zealand two years prior, finding it hard to adjust to a completely new environment by herself. she does have a handful of close friends that find her predicament amusing yet understand how upsetting it must be and try their best to help. it may look as though jennie could care less about how people perceive her but inside, she's worrying over every little detail and desperately wants to be liked. once her indifferent demeanor is broken away, jennie kim is a soft-hearted, timid, and hard-working girl who wishes to be seen as who she truly is.

♯ born in seoul, south korea but moved to new zealand at age 7 due to her father's work. returned to korea when she was eighteen and currently lives alone in an apartment.

♯ family : her household is slightly above middle class in terms of wealth but her mother tightly manages the family's finances since she was once poor. jennie's an only child but she's always wanted a younger brother to tease.

♯ occupation : models for random online clothing boutiques, small makeup brands, uprising photographer's portfolios; it varies. whenever she has time to spare, jennie posts on youtube.
