All About Me

• I go by the name Junghwannie
• You can call me Hwan or Jhwan (Jay-hwan)
• I was born in the year of Dragon
• I am now working at an advertising company, designing billboard posters.
• I've been designing since 2006.
• I used to own a site called Dare2Draw (on Webs.com) which lasted for three years.
• I was a poster designer for Harry Potter, and Disney-related fanfics
• My forte is Myspace layout. Until they keep changing it to Myspace 2.0 and 3,0 and I stop designing it
• I don't have SNS accounts because I'm too lazy to update them. MySpace is still my favourite tho XD

Designing

• I enjoy making what they call "preppy signs" and I prefer limited size of canvas
• My favourite graphic types are : Posters, Icons, Signature, Banner, Profile Picture
• When I'm lazy to open Photoshop, I will use online editor called "Aviary"
• I use Photoshop CS5 to design (CS6, Illustrator and Elements for work-related, in my company's computer)
• I'm currently into making Facebook Timeline Cover. 

 

Musical Taste

• I'm a fan of McFly, Secondhand Serenade, Linkin Park, Paramore, and the likes
• I'm not a hardcore Korean Music fans, but I listen to them a lot since H.O.T, DBSK, SS501 era.
• My favourite Korean groups are H.O.T (Tony oppa!), DBSK (Yunho), Supernova (Geonil), U-Kiss, The Boss, B1A4, B.A.P, Exo M, and currently Cross Gene.
• I don't play musical instrument, but I have a basic knowledge in percussion and drums.
• I wish to play the violin, just like Henry Lau and Im Siwan.

 

My Sites

• I opened a site called Starlit3.com based on the idea of promoting people's sites. 
• But it changed to a graphic site because I don't think I have time to promote others XD
• I also collaborated with Malik of Smiledd.net and we open a layout webshop called Alohomora.org (status: closed)
• I also have a Resource Centre here in AFF focusing on Facebook Timeline, Profile Picture and Story Elements
• Now that I have an AFF account, you shall see me blogging quite a lot here since  I've closed down my daily blog on Livejournal XD

AFF Love

• dorkistic_chazzie : This old lady is my biggest inspiration when it comes to this siteworld life. I've seen her doing all the designing using MSPaint and MSword (don't ask me how but she did it back in the days when Photoshop is still Photoshop8), opening Dorkistic Design to show her love to her no. 1 idol, James Bourne (whom she share the same birthday and dorkiness with lol), struggling with her Degree Studies, her passion towards performing on stage and being a maestro and juggling with hundreds of request. She never complain and she never gives up. Even now, when she has a bigger responsibility as an educator, she still finds her visitors as her no. 1 inspiration, and will never fail to impress them with her designs and hospitality.

 

• Now I sound like a Chazzie-obsessed fan XD When it comes to teaching, she is a strict teacher (and I am so scared when she taught me the HTML stuff back then that I memorized the codes before sleep!) and when it comes to being your friend, she is one good listener. I know that there might be people who dislike her, but she never think about it. "Why bother those who hate you when you should share your passion with people who love you" - that's what she always tell me when I talked to her about these siteworld dramas and how I'm scared to make a comeback.
