Seo Joohyun, or Seohyun as everyone in town calls her, is the Belle of her hometown, Forget-Me-Not Valley. A very simple and polite girl who loves talking walks by herself and is often seen reading a book near the springs. She was raised by her mother who is the famous fortune teller, but she never met her father. Whenever she asks her mother about her father, she would answer "If something is destined to happen, it will happen... no matter what. Your father, he was destined to leave us even from the start... And it is also my destiny to raise you up by myself." In fact, Seohyun already memorized her mother's words. And after pondering with her mother's words, she realized and began believing in destiny. Seohyun also knows a little about fortune telling even if her mother prohibits her in learning it more. She's currently living alone but she most of the time visits her mother. The reason why she lives away from her mother was actually her mom's request. She didn't want Seohyun to be disturbed with the buzzing people that would always visit their home to have their respective fortunes told.
As a growing child, Seohyun had to endure being alone most of the time. Kids avoided her because they think of her as weird being the fortune teller's daughter. She only had one childhood friend that unexpectedly left her for a reason she doesn't know.
But as she was growing up, teens around her age started talking and being friends with her. She doesn't know why did they change all of a sudden but Seohyun was more glad that she had friends now. She herself also become more open and social to people.
